Help! Acer Liquid MT - Set up prob

I bought my parnter a shiny new Acer MT phone for Christmas and we're just trying to set the thing up, but we can't see how to get the UK 3 pin plug adapter onto the charger plug. It works with the continental 2 pin one, but there doesn't seem to be a way of fitting the 3 pin one on there.... We might well be missing something obvious - or possibly the box is missing a part. If someone who has one of these could explain, that'd be most helpful. :-)

Remove the 2 pin adaptor then apply the 3 pin one.0

Er, thanks DUTR, but it's not quite that simple! Doesn't fit. I'm pretty sure they've sent the wrong 3 pin adapter actually.0
