If you bought it using a Reward Card, they can call customer services and look up the transaction on your card. There is a streaky mess under the exterior coating of the disc (of the mirror side), it looks like glue; as such it won't play. It looks as though it has delaminated?
If the disk is damaged as you say, there should be no problem with getting a straight replacement.0 -

Since the fault is visible I don't think you'll have a problem getting it replaced. My copy of Heavy Rain bought from Tesco had a freezing problem and they swapped that no problem and they couldn't see that fault.
Good luck although I'm sure you will be fine. It is annoying when you look forward to playing a game and then there's a problem with it.Don't grow up. Its a trap!

Hi there
Wondering if anyone knows where what my consumer rights are in regards to this situation.
I recently bought a Nintendo Wii Dj Hero set as a Christmas present for my son. Now I know I have blonde moments, but I know I picked up the Wii edition as it also confirms this on my till receipt. My son was more than a little disappointed when he opened it and it was the Xbox edition!! I hadn't even noticed this when I picked it up from the collection point in store.
Can I ask them to refund my fuel costs or get them to collect this wrongly dispatched item and replace it with the right one as it is clearly their mistake. I bought it from the Cardiff bay store and I live 25 miles away, plus i hav now seen it a good 10 quid cheaper on line...

You can ask them to refund your fuel costs, or pick it up, but they are not obliged to.
As you picked it up in store, you had ample chance to inspect the item before you brought it home.
Also, even though you've seen it cheaper on line, you'd be hard pressed to get TRU to refund it, they'd likely just do a straight swap for the correct game, and you aren't entitled to a refund.
That said, there's no harm in asking though.0 -

It was to go with Flyboy12 and Flyboy10's new Xbox and Kinnect they got for Christmas. I wouldn't have the first idea about the things.
As is shown by my naivety with Game.
The greater danger, for most of us, lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short; but in setting our aim too low and achieving our mark0
