I use Avi2dvd - which is pretty good - usually takes about 5 hours to convert a movie of approx 90-120 minsHate and I do mean Hate my apple Mac Computer - wish I'd never bought the thing
Do little and often
Please stop using the word "of" when you actually mean "have" - it's damned annoying :mad:0 -

It is free and will create a DVD of your avi file. Not used it myself as I already have other DVD authoring software. Let us all know how you get on.
Thanks for recommending this program, I was having trouble getting an avi file onto disk. DVDflick worked a treat, I was thinking the only was I was gonna get around it was by ugrading to Nero 7! Cheers.0 -
I use ConvertXtoDVD http://www.vso-software.fr/shop.php
which costs 35 Euro and is really simple.. I just fire it up and drag the file in. I have found that it will convert virtually anything including .flv files which I download from YouTube. I really have yet to find a file it will not convert and which then plays on any of my DVD players - it burns the file as well if there is a blank dvd in the burner.I'm Glad to be here... At my age I'm glad to be anywhere!!
I'm not losing my hair... I'm getting more head!!0 -
I use Ashampoo burning utility and it does the conversion automatically while burning. No Links in Signatures by Site Rules - MSE Forum Team 20
