Ah.... just back from GameStation, they were sold out of the blue that we had seen, but they have the white with Mario Kart for £79.99!!

If you already have Mario Kart, trade it back into Gamestation - they will beat the CeX trade in price by £1, so you could get £19 for it.

Yes, brand new, I nearly snatched his hand off, LOL. They were not on display and he went off to being out what he had in stock and came back with that one. It was cheaper than the pre-owned. Even better was I returned Skylanders (3DS version not available as 2 player option so they refunded) and I still had some trade in credit and it cost me a whopping £1!!

When I mentioned the cheaper one yesterday I had found Blue Mario & Sonic Bundle on GameStation for £90 but I had £8 on my Elite card so it would have been £82 (I had this on order but have since cancelled it) we could have got £25 for the game and £17 for the controller - so £40 for a new Wii! But this will do - once we have sold everything it will have cost £44. Plus I now have £10 on my Elite card.

You might even be able to sell the non working console for spares / repair - having all the power supply, cables, sensor bar etc with it.

Having said about trading in the remote and nunchuck, it is better to keep them if you can for what you would get for them, as having more than one make multi-player gaming so much easier.

You may already know, but the Wii can handle up to 4 remotes (and connected nunchucks) To buy them standalone is usually £30 for the remote and £15 for the nunchuck.

All in all - quite Money Saving if you ask me. Cheaper than a repair, and you have a new console with a full years warranty

Hi Biker, yes we already have 4 remotes and 4 motion plus adaptors (which we have used the grand amount of 0 times, LOL, I got these on the Argos/Garfield deal where it was £12.99 for the game and sensors and then C-ex took the games off me for £9.99. Happy days.

I see what you mean about spares now, that is a good idea. I did think I might just send the Wii off to Nintendo and see if they repair it for me for free and then trade it in - I have the box so can get £50 for it, LOL. Will have a look later. When one the kids DSi broke (actually, they broke it) they repaired it for me free of charge. We are in that Nintendo Club they have and so I register all of the products - and we do have most of them - so whether this is why they fixed it, I'll never know.

LOL - I did exactly the same with the Argos deal last year to get Motion Plus adapters - brilliant it was !

Not many game HAVE to use the Motion Plus - I think from memory Wii Sports Resort and Red Steel 2 are games that do.
