Orange Early Upgrade from Phones4U...

My upgrade date is Jan 16th 2012, but I want an upgrade now (The contract is in my mums name and she'll be out the country for 3 months by that point).
Orange's Early upgrade policy is
Do you think that upgrading through Phones 4 U, I can just pay one months line rental? It seems odd to me that I have to pay 4 months line rental when I'm a month off upgrade (It's not as if I want to leave).
Also, If they say no, can I still use Orange's early upgrade (MR*LR -33%), but then upgrade through Phones 4 U (They have the HTC Sensation XL and Orange don't)
