  • Hi
I would like to join you all this year if I may? I have kind of done a bit/lurked but I am desperate next year to really reduce my debt and I really want to join in with this challenge. I cant buy too much in the sales as have no money until 15th when I get paid, although I do have some boots points and a £25 superdrug voucher from christmas, I did buy some rolls of paper in the sale for 10p each to top up my stash and I will be cutting my cards up to make some more gift tags for next year.

Looking forward to getting ideas off everyone and seeing all the totals add up

Hello all, glad to hear so many had a great christmas, Jack and Erin had a lovely time and we're so excited by everything. My christmas was not good tbh but the children are what matters and they loved it.
Thanks to my secret santa for my crafting book, I love it and am planning all the things I can make!!!

Hitting this new year and money making with a vengence, determined to do better than this year although I have no clue what this year was!!! lol With that in mind Elysia I will pm you my email and could you please send me the spreadsheet. Thanks

I have started buying for next Christmas already, it worked this year and so am doing it again. Nothing to regift this year but I do have a few bits left over from over buying too much so making a good start.

Off to see what surveys I have now and end the year as I aim to start the next one.

    I'm in again!

Elysia - is the spreadsheet my original spreadsheet that I used to send out or has it been updated ?

Jamtart - it's your original spreadsheet with a page added for monthly totals, as we now like to post our earnings at the end of the month. If we don't do so well, it's really motivating to try and better last months total (or just try and beat Michelle - she's our star). :D

Stepmum - sorry you didn't have a great Christmas. Good news that you've started present buying though - you can do it. We KNOW you can. You'll beat last year easily. :)

Toontron - Have you joined any of the sites yet? That's the thing to do next, and if you can ask anyone if they could refer you, that would be lovely. :)

Candy - No lurking this year. That's an order. ;) Well done on the 10p wrapping paper, what a bargain! No worries about not having money to buy stuff in the sales, if you stick at it, you'll have money left over next year, for the sales then. :D You're doing well already. Brilliant!

Hollie - right your our expert on Couponing and Legend is the Mr T expert, so together with your help, we'll all make some extra savings hopefully. :D

Lindsay - YAY. Have you started to join some sites, so you can add them to your spreadsheet? Take your time, don't join them all in one day - it'll put you off. Start off gently and build up. I can give you more sites later.

A nice new shiny thread for 2012 - hello everyone. :hello:

Elysia I've sent you a PM requesting the spreadsheet. Can't wait to get started. Looking forward to the first challenge.

Just claimed a voucher from RewardTV - I've claimed quite a few throughout 2011 all thanks to members posting about the site and giving tips on the previous thread.

I won £10 on Getpoundsback's Wednesday bonus ball competition just for picking a number and doing a few clicks. Think it's my fifth bonus ball win this year from various cashback sites. :j

Off to sort out my inbox and wade through all the emails telling me about the sales. My motto for 2012 is "It doesn't matter if I miss that freebie, coupon, survey or competition there'll be another one around the corner." I'm going to turn my computer off at a reasonable hour i.e. 10pm.

Just had an email - Maximiles survey points are being added instantly from now on, instead of having to wait. Also, they will give you some points if you don't qualify. Probably not a lot, but they all mount up, and every penny helps. :D

Well done Aspella - That's the spirit, and well done on the Rewards TV claims, my internet can't be fast enough, I haven't been quick enough yet. :(

    :D Wow - page 5 already

Hi everyone, we're having a chilled out day today before we head to DH family tomorrow for New Year. We skyped them on Christmas day so we still 'saw' them, but we have all the presents here for them - it's like having 2 Christmas days :D

Elysia - thank you for asking about my dad, he sees the consultant next week to see if the chemo had any effect - fingers crossed.

I'm at the hospital the day after as my knee still isn't right, so I'm hoping I don't need surgery, I've too much other stuff on !

I won't be back on until the New Year now, so I hope everyone has a lovely time xx
