  • I'm back to the money making this evening while I can. One review written. I'm going to try to do some more. Nearly packed for going away, and the dog is at my mums. I was so sad leaving him as he was crying.

I have no idea how much I made last year. I am useless. At some point at the beginning of January I am going to add it all up. Elysia, you shocked me when you said how much you made from reviews. I must be more than that as at one stage in summer I had a £50 cheque every month from DY, a couple over £70 on chow, and then that £60 we got from shopping.

I think I will be shocked when I do as I have worked so hard at it. I'm sure it will be even better in 2012 too, starting as I mean to go on in January.

I go away tomorrow, back either 30th or 31st - we aren't sure yet. Enjoy the rest of the holidays everyone.

Rufus - lucky you - laptop and kindle. You will not say you are bored ever again. :D

I forgot about shop.com - I did quite a few promotions from them, it must have been at least another £120 -£150 on top. :) Having lost my spreadsheet I couldn't tell you my exact amounts, but I've just been into chow and dooU to work out this years totals. You'll easily triple or quadruple or 5 x my efforts, but you work really hard at it, like I said, mine is half hearted when I feel like it. I can easily go six months without writing any. :(

Emma well done hun. Remember to write it all down on the spreadsheet. It will be fab to have an accurate account next year. I'm just about to add my stuff to mine. :)

  • Have a lovely time Cha - hope you are not taking the laptop with you
Aiming to make £7,500 online in 2022
  • That is only as I treat it like my job and force myself to write most days. On January the 1st I only wrote on DY, and i had written 106 reviews. I am now at nearly 330, with an extra 10 plus on chow to go across when I can. It has always been a good earner for me, and helps I enjoy it.

I get so inspired reading how you are all doing so please all carry on just the way you are.

DHs laptop broke so not a possibility. I am taking my knitting and library book instead, so a total rest. It will drive me crazy not popping online, but the break will do me good. ;)

Hi Cha - new to this thread - what are the reviews you are writing - sounds like something I might like to try if I could!

Roland - have you read through the first three posts? There are details about review sites on there. There are two - (Dooyoo) DooU and (Ciao) Chow. You write reviews about anything. Holidays, hotels, books, food, toiletries, make up etc. You get paid a certain amount of money for actually writing it, and also you get more money when people rate it (say whether your review is good or not). It gets quite addictive when you get into it. I like it, but it takes up quite a lot of time. The money and effort is worth it though. :)

Can I just ask - if any newbies want to join any of the sites, could you please ask someone to refer you please? It would only be worth a few pence for some sites, but as our thread motto says ' EVERY PENNY HELPS ' :D Thank you xxx

  • Found you :j.

Just a quick hi to all oldies & newbies. If I get anywhere near 2011 totals in 2012 I'll be well chuffed, so good luck to us all. Got my One Poll £40 this week so even the small surveys add up :T. Expecting Honest Rewards & One Poll Cashback payouts in Jan so should be a flying start to the year.

Elysia can I have the new s/sheet if it is different to the old one, thanks :A.
    Show us the money :D
Infamy, infamy, they've all got it in infamy!!
