are you able to borrow a small fan heater AL?
i have one and think its fab. dont take to much electric and you only have to heat the one room for about 15 mins and its cosy.

some of the surveys may have been just for prize entries hun. i have been with them for about 2yrs now and they are really good. i have had no surveys from them at all this year, just the mini surveys on the left hand side. stick with it and you will get there.

Not done much this weekend on the money making = i finshed my exam and assignment [whihc i know will need redoing] and then have had realyy violent headaches]

I never thought about putting water into the flask to save money - might try this as at weekend i always have 2 brews in the first hour and automatically put the kettle on! Does anyone know approx how much i will save as i will put these pennies in a pot for a treat for me!

Morning all

We got a bit of snow last night, first of this winter. Glad I dont have to go out in it. Other half is going to try to get home tonight as he doensnt have to work again after today until Weds night. Was hoping to get to the crem on Tuesday if the weather is not too bad as its the day my Mum died but its a long way away to drive to if the roads are bad.

I put another review on C this morning and have emailed them to say I have done the promo for this month. I was on £13 this morning so another £7 will be a nice month on there for me. I am saving up at the moment to get YD her provisional driving license which is £50. She wants to be a paramedic so will need a full driving license so we have said we could get her some lessons for her birthday in July. I have put £20 by which I got the other day out of Viva payment so this C money will get me a bit further.

I am saving the Amazon vouchers for OH's birthday, want to get him a blu ray player, seen one for £90. I did have £70 towards it but have used £10 to get YD a book on the dvla theory test so she can be swatting up.

Going to get lots of rating done today as not a lot else to do really, just try to stay warm.

That must hav ben so frightening for you . I lost my eldest in Asda once, for about 30 seconds. My mother in law was holding his hand so I could look at something and then he just went. All he'd don was go round to the next aisle to hide, and we found him so quickly, but I had so many awful thoughts go through my head.

I was given one for my birthday but unfortunately it only heats the 2 inches in front of it so pretty useless.

Had a fun drive of 10miles in last night's blizzard after work to get home at 12.30am. The roads were white where the sleet had washed away the grit earlier in the evening. The dog is happy though - charging around like a maniac in the snow.:rotfl:

Earned another 3p on ciao and a few more miles on dooyoo. Woohooing in the background and must do some sb today as I've not done any for a week.

Morning ladies 3/10 reviews written now, although I haven't posted any yet. I've still got a backlog of reviews to put from chow on to dy, I've decided to alternate between a 300 point review then a 100 point review every other day. Hopefully I'll be able to post a review every other day on there for the rest of the year

Well done on getting the 5 reviews done Rufus, I've had a look and I don't have 5 things to review so wont be cashing in on that promo!

Not been on for a while. All been poorly here and my 8 month old has caught yet another cold - he had a chest and ear infection over Christmas and since then it's just been one cold after another. Infact he had a cold in October and it seems like his nose has been running ever since!

Compared to others I have made a measley £10 in Amazon vouchers in January but it's £10 more then I would have had. Near to redeeming on Toluna and would have done a while ago but I have 8 outstanding survey points to be added.

Making headway with ebay sales. I had 12 items listed and 11 have bids and will sell by the end of today.

Really cannot get into ciao or doyoo just lack the motivation and as a newbie no one rates you which is a vicious circle. Ah well, may get my mojo later in the month.

Well done to you all on your totals, sounds like everyone has had a productive January.

Sorry I havent been on here for a while, have had a hectic couple of weeks. My brother went on holiday for 2 weeks so I was running his business for him while he was gone which is a manic job in itself, and was also doing my own work and visiting my ladies, unfortunately one of them had a stroke and although she is ok and out of hospital again I am going to visit her every day now just to keep an eye on her, on top of all that I signed up ages ago to deliver Yellow Pages and it finally came up last week so I have been delivering 1100 of those as well - i havent stopped for the last 2 weeks its been crazy, anyway all YP are now delivered and brother is back tonight so I can take it easy for while.

Unfortunately my money making has had to take a back seat while i do all that, although i guess it is just different money making.

Anyway am up for the new challenges, espcially the Toluna one, did a list get made? if so can i be added to it and get a copy of it please?

However Im not going to do the reviews one this month - i still havent made a start on C or DU but I am not going to have time this month so will make a real effort to get on with those in March.

Good news is though I am getting a surprise holiday!!! My OH has been working away for 5 weeks and we have decided that next week I am going to fly out and visit him. As he is working his hotel is paid for so there is no cost for us there and he also gets a certain amount of money per day for meals which is more than enough to cover both of us so we only have to pay for my flights (his are paid for) so we will go halves on that and my half is more than covered with the money I have made these last 2 weeks with YP and helping my brother. OH wll have to work Mon-Thur but I can lie by the pool and relax while he is at work and he has Friday off so we will be able to do something nice then - this may be taking the 'treat yourself' challenge to the extreme! but I cant wait.

Posted 2 new reviews today one for dy and one for c the ones for c are not on dy yet but will request them when possible. 8/30 reviews done now and have suggested one on c which I hope will go on tomorrow or tuesday so another new review on there too. I have emailed them asking where my £3 odd is too so will see if that reappears any time soon!!

Off to work soon so that's the end of my money making for today!
