Thanks Boatgirl, Rufus, Elysia & Cha97michelle for taking the time to reply to my suggestion about SB & SP. I hope my post didn't upset/annoy anyone I wasn't having a go its just that they are sites out there where it's more about luck or how many referrals you have as opposed to how much effort you put in i.e. bingo sites. I was just curious how members who are getting 100+ per day on SB i.e. what are they doing and how often. On a bad day I only get 3 points on SB, on a good day 25 points. I'm not getting the same amount of videos to watch on SB as the majority of members on here which is probably due to region. I'm lucky if I get one search win every couple of days and its not due to lack of effort.
No problem, I wasn't offended or upset. I don't mind explaining to anyone. I just wanted to make sure people get that to do well, you do need to put time in. I know i make quite a lot some months, but as I said in my post above, my computer is on at least 12 hours per day.
I was explaining to Elysia yesterday I have 2 browsers open, each with about 8 windows with different sites, so I can hop back and forth to take advantage of various deals. Computer goes on at 8am, and I am often on till 11pm, but get on and off as needed for school runs and to do stuff with the kids. I think I am some special type of nutter though. I even logged on when I was on holiday, and over Christmas. See I said I was mad.
Pay is so not worth it when you think of the hours, but when the pennies count, you put the hours in.
On that note, back to it, as I just got bad news that my elec/gas DD is going up £50 per month. I will try and argue it, but won't get away with no increase.0 -
Emma I'm running out of reviews too lol, it's rubbish when you run out of ones to copy over!
Well I've been quiet as I've been trying to work out how to start a blog lol, I've wanted to do one for years and finally got round to itit's in my profile if you want to go and have a look! It doesn't have any real meaning behind it... yet, but Im sure it will soon. It's kind of exciting, something different to do in the evenings andddd it's so much easier writing blogs than reviews, although it doesn't make me money haha

Nicola00 - Don't worry about all those other sites and threads. Just stick with us.All the info you could need is in the first four or five posts. We even have a monthly challenge to keep you motivated.
Seriously, Popping here there and everywhere is probably just wasting your time going backwards and forwards. We do most things and there is no quick and easy formulae to making money, it's just hard work and determination. If you don't get any surveys some days, go and see if you can find any, join another site, or do something else that can earn you some money.
Please take your time to read the first posts like I said, and join up to some more sites (if there's any you're not on), and keep coming back here to let us know how you're getting on.
Ok you've got me , I'll stick with you guys.....:grouphug:
I'll try get myself sorted for the weekend, what sites I've joined etc (prob loads over the years) and re-reading the posts at the beginning. Apart from eBaying and trying to break the huge pile of ironing I have a reasonably quiet weekend planned (at the minute)
I did set myself the challenge this year of clearing the loft and garage, aiming to be complete by the summer, both are jam packed so figured that was a realistic target
Only into week 2 (was really ill 1st week of Jan so started a week late)and so far have £200 ebay sales and £35 from recycle shop.
This was from clearing out all the wardrobes, and a very small corner of the loft.... result was 15 bags to recycle shop, 42 ebay items listed (sold 22) a few charity bags and a green rubbish bin full of junk
My thought process is one day a week doing the clearing then whatever time I have the rest of the week sorting, listing, binning etc0 -
First redeem on SB today, had £5 Amazon as OH loves books. I only joined beginning of Jan so very happy to be redeeming already :-)Debt at LBM [strike]£17,544[/strike] £5700:TOver £14,000 PAID OFF :T
2020 the year of less - Less debt, less waste, less spending, less stuff, less stress!0 -
Yay, a couple of goos surveys today... and another redeem on sbucks, so that takes me to £20 on there since middle of Dec!!! Plus my redeem for ips*s of £10 amazon vouchers lol... Also through ips*s I have taken part in a digital media study which I get £30 in amazon vouchers for YAY... doing ok, thanks to the kick up the bum from on here...
I haven't done too well with the ebaying, but have now listed my travel cot, so it's a start
Off to watch got to dance before bed xxUnless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
Nothing is going to get better. It's not.0 -

Michelle - Thanks for helping me to explain.I've been honest all along, You DO need referrals, but you've also got to work at it.
Florence - wow 6 kids. I'd have loved more (two girls) but it just didn't happen that way.Well done on your ebay sales. You said you were buying a train ticket earlier - where are you going nice?
Restricted - I'll have shiny teeth too. Mine came yesterday. I'm so sad - I love doing product tests. OH think it's funny - he says we're the only people who have our shopping dleivered by Royal Mail. :rotfl:
Kay - well done on the swag redeem. Woohoo. Not bad for three weeks. It usually takes me a month.Well done.

Joe - Thanks for sharing the bargains. No Clintons near me sadly. How have you been Joe? Are you still managing on the review sites?
Purple - well done on your bargains, and well done on managing to get out and about. That's good news about your job. I'm glad you're not rushing into going back full time. It sounds like you'll be much better off when you're back and work so I'm so pleased for you. I'm glad you're feeling better.
Sorry if I've missed anyone - trying to post this, do swag and help DD do her homework at the same time.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45
