Lovely news mum2three, evens it up nicely for you. Was going to say when you mentioned about eggs, that's all i could eat for the 1st 3 months with tabi and she was girl. Guess each pregnancy is different though.

Thanks Claros I got chosen for both the trials as well.

Elysia you are right, I do concentrate more on sw*g than the others, find it quite addictive and it's v easy to do little bits around the baby. I guess you get out what you put in.

You're welcome Elysia and BoatGirl - I got selected for both too so very happy! Hope some more of you did too

Im very happy cos just managed a redeem on Ipsos, had to do quite a repetetive survey on razors but it was definitely worth it. Have decided to go for John Lewis rather than Amazon for a change - figured if I get really stuck for anyones birthday (like my SIL who returns everything!!!) John Lewis vouchers make an acceptable gift :)

Still struggling on with sb and sp - trying to make 100 points a day on sb, thanks boatgirl for the tip about games but it doesnt seem to add any points to my account? I prefer that site to sp though - pressing the button is a bit boring and for some reason the videos on sp keep crashing out - anyway will stick with them both

Feel like I should apologise as despite my good intentions I still havent got round to even looking at dy or chow :( I will tho!

Hope everyone is having a nice day x

Claros - you don't have to apologise hun. It's nothing to do with us - you just do what you can manage. Don't feel pressured that you're not on them. Even some of last years members don't do them. You're doing well, be proud of yourself, 'cos we are (of you, I mean).

Chow and DoU are a bit up in the air at the moment, not a lot of people rating, it'll settle down soon, and you'll be able to make the most from them then. :)

I'm glad you got picked for the trials too, I'd have felt guilty if you hadn't.

Boat - that's exactly it - you get out what you put in, same as everthing. You're doing well with what your doing, and it's working around Tabi nicely. Well done :)

belated birthday wishes for elysia and congrats mum2three.xxx

    ((((((((((((((((hugs))))))))))))))

i am really impressed with myself today as i finally got my butt into town, have not been there for about 5 months now, (due to my illnesses).i walked home as well so must have done over a mile in total including all the walking i did in town as well.:j

also had some frugal buys, went to asda and got the free clover block and a free rumblers pot, asda wipes 49p, asda nappy bags 88p on packet, went through as 35p, but said 46p on sel, and a thick sliced loaf of hovis 50/50 for 55p.:)

then went to clintons and picked up 5 rolls of 5 metre xmas paper @ 37p each. really happy with this as i run out last year so there will be no chance of it happening again this year. still dont have xmas cards though, but am in town again next week so will have a look in wilko as i noticed they had loads of xmas stuff in there. bought a hair dye from there for £1, didnt have enough money to get the xmas cards today. hope they still there next week.:j

to finish off my mothers 60th pamper hamper i bought her a large bar of dairy milk turkish delight which i managed to get for £1 (in my local post office) and in tesco i got 4 options individual hot chocolates for £1. also managed to get her some slippers in the sale for £3 in shoe zone.

have also paid another £50 off my debts, and i still have £2.70 left in my purse and i wont need anything now until the end of next week. now this is very rare for me lol.:j

Hi everyone , Loving this thread
I have been lurking about here for the past week or so and I have joined or rejoined some of the sites and still with a lot to check out and sign up to..... I keep getting distracted though reading through posts and looking at other related threads...and saving pages to look at later, then I sometimes get lost in all the "in Jargon" and because I'm nosey if someone comments on something I need to read back to see what they're talking about :p

I Have tried going back to the beginning of threads but some are sooooo long, or linked to previous threads and again I start reading other related posts ARRRGGGHHHHH Where do you start??

I did start with the intention of writing down all the sites and trying to keep a tally every so often of points, cash etc then try and work out the best ones to stick at and invest time in, needless to say I'm still working on that list.

Is there an idiots guide/best practice advice somewhere that I'm missing that isn't full of chat and just a Best sites, do this, do that type of thing

I have been watching lots of Sw*gb*cks TV but the meter isn't going up , am I doing something really stupid??

Have also came to the conclusion that having a decent amount of friend referrals seems to be the best way forward. None of my friends are into any of this kind of survey/cashback goings on (why are they my friends I wonder, lol)
I have posted one for SP on the referral board but how do you make yours stand out from all the others and is it ok to repost your referral every now and again?

I've downloaded a few apps to my phone for £ surveys, seems slow, but maybe eventually they'll pick up, just need to try bring in as much extra cash as I can no matter how small. I have been selling on ebay like a crazy mad person and so far the income from ebay has been put towards a debt and I cashed in a lot of bags of clothes, bags etc at a recycle shop yesterday for £35 so that was a nice wee bonus

Sorry I only came on to ask about the TV question and kinda went on a bit

;) Busy doing nothing, working the whole day through, trying to find lots of things not to do :p
  • Afternoon everyone.

Sorry I wasn't on earlier today. I did my volunteering this morning for the first time in weeks. I was there all the time DS2 was at nursery, so I have not had chance to do a lot today.

I see people wonder about the points, Elysia has tried to explain. I am working at money earning probably 12 hours per day every day, as I have no other income. So yes, part of my success is that I have got a few people referred to sites, but most of my fortune is down to hard work. No secret.

superpoints I have 10 referrals, but out of those, only 3 spin every day like me. I am lucky in the respect that those 3 referrals have also gone on and got lots of referrals as well, so I have 100 spins per day, and each of them also have 100, so we have a bit of extra chance of luck, but most of it is what the wheel spins. All I need is for each of my 10 people to get say 10 points a day, and I would have 100 points a day just from that, then I get my own too. There is no secret, it is just going on the site every day.

swagbucks, I make sure I try and get all the available codes, use the toolbar, do my daily searches, and do some videos and games. I have not referred anyone in ages, so I am not redeeming as much on there, but it is still at least monthly.

I could say the same about toluna. some people redeem there monthly. That is one site I can not be faffed with and I have not redeemed there since April. It's all about getting out what you put in. In an ideal world I would get something from every site, but I don't have enough time or energy, so I direct my time to where I think I will get most return from it.

Today is last day before payday on Cha so today's focus for me is doing what I can on there to up my pay, and try and get a new review on dy. Last weeks product suggestions are now all on, but I have not got round to adding anything yet, so I will try to do that too tonight.
