Had a good talk to myself today and I have promised myself that I will finish stitching fire engine TODAY. I have bought a sheet of red card this morning for it - so no excuses .

Chicky - thank you very much for the email x I am appro halfway through the stitching now, just a couple of small spaces which I haven't made the final decision on yet. Only got 24hrs left to get it all done and mounted but there is so many other things needing done as well with the house/children/work. I am just doing the bare minimum to get by at the moment.

Had one of those moments this morning - dropped my beading boxes when I was moving them, the flipping things went EVERYWHERE and I just wanted to scream I think I will be hoovering seed beads from the carpet for some time to come......

nmm - I think the ark looks lovely

fos - that fabric goes really well with the design, the cushion looks lovely.

b_e_g - Happy Anniversary! 34 years, that's an achievement :T Good luck with the fire engine.

Shelly - well, I don't need to twll you how much I love Czar, it must have made a nice change to load up a different colour

ok so last week it wouldnt let me update or rather photo bucket wouldnt let me so now its time for a load of piccies

this was the last time you lovely ladies saw her week 4



this was where i was week 5 (last saturday 24th march)



and this was this saturday ( 31st march) week 6



as you can see my stitchy bug deserted me between week 5 and 6 she seems to have come back today, which is bad news as i have a meeting at half 7 tonight for a rainbows group im helping to start so i wont get any done, my challenge is to get the second page finished by next saturdays update

loving the green shelly i would love to do a tiger one day but think all those oranges would drive me mad !!

See - I told you I was going to finish (stitching) today.



Made alteration to front of engine to show brothers name and age instead of 'dennis'.

Great progress maria - glad to see you have been bitten by the bug again. Typical isn't it though now its back - things like meetings and such get in the way.

That looks great b_e_g, I have that on my to do list for my friends' sons birthday - not till August though, I like the idea of changing the name on the front

An [STRIKE]mistake[/STRIKE] alteration I did on fire engine was the the sky/grass/road were supposed to be half stitches but unfortunately I didn't realise until I had just about finished. :rotfl: Think it looks ok though.

Raring to go on another kit but have to go to aerobics tonight and by the time I get back I will not be in any fit state to stitch. Might just start a little one as I am looking out for a project for friends birthday - she really liked my John Clayton Tulip Fields but the only kits I can find are quite pricey by the time its framed and everything.
