    Xmas Saver!
I thought I was being over sensitive thinking we haven't heard from Mary, hope everything ok.

Our loft is magic something goes up in there, then it mysterious disappears - hence bulk buying wrapping paper in Jan sales for the last few yrs.... now the loft getting emptied everything appearing.

We got a nice surprise 2ngt, checked online for our holiday - the hol company was advertising sales for Lapland, and our hotel has gone up by £300 from what we pd!! so def some nice money saving there.... 21 days to go!!

Susan - That sounds like the journey from hell, I remember a few yrs ago when we went down to Devon for New Yr, a normal journey was 4hrs - that took 10hrs - big accident on m-way - at one point we did 1 mile in 3 hrs we got diverted over Severn bridge and up throu Hereford, etc - we didn't have Sat nav then got dad driving, I was trying to map read by the light of my mobile phone, 1st thing we then brought was a Sat Nav. Best invention ever.

Clare - Hope you have a quieter journey!! xx

Good news on the hotel mum2one. I love my sat nav and have even taken it too America with me as they charge so much to hire one over there

Well I went to Cardiff shopping with cousin we had a good day out. Coffee to start, a wander around the Xmas things and then a meal . What did I buy? 3 rolls of wrapping paper for DD ... I have plenty for myself . Cousin was happy though as I treated him to coffee and a meal.

Yesterday I went to the Christmas shop up Merthyr ... Oooh talk about a kiddie in a sweet shop. I got a cookie man sweetie holder ... He was unusual never seen one before so had to have. Some scene setters that go on your wall. A winter scene in a park. Santa workshop scene. A Santa and sleigh scene , 100 metres of snowflakes that hang down from the ceiling to create a winter wonderland. That's for the hall way. And 3 very large snowflakes about a foot high to hang from the chandelier in the hall way. And a three foot high North Pole lol. That to go with my 3d Santas village I make ... You'd think I'd have nothing better to do wouldn't you?

I'm going to put them up next week when I get back see what they look like as I don't want it to look too much ... Lol

Hope your all well and for those that are poorly get well soon

If you post a note mum2 one let her know she's in our thoughts

The Christmas shop is up on pant ind est . Unit 24 it has has everything for parties. Big unit. Not far from asda at Dowlais top. I bought something from them on eBay and when it came I seen there address and phoned them up to see if they had a shop. I was like a kid in a sweetshop. They sold out of a lot if things and didn't think to ask was they getting more stock. But there was plenty in for me to look at . Particularly liked the inflatable Winnie the Pooh . 8ft high . But I have the giraffe and he takes up alot of room . So didn't get him.

Is it me or is everyone worried about buying gift vouchers in case the stores go through. Seen wh smith seem to be downsizing . But let's be honest their prices haven't been in the real world for quite a while.

Talking of Aberfan I was there yesterday with OH

And talking about visiting DD mum2 one. I haven't seen her since Monday . She been out at friends and I just looked she still out. She a funny girl at times ......

Don't know what to do with myself today . Could do with heading home but no way I'm travelling on a Friday ...
