In what way?
For defending myself? How much I owe, how much I repay etc isnt in question here I wasnt asking for advice on that I was asking if its fair to take it out on her grandchildren!
Also to add my other sister owes her money too and she still bought her 3 kids presents!Wins so far this year: Mum to be bath set, follow me Domino Dog, Vital baby feeding set, Spiderman goody bag, free pack of Kiplings cakes, £15 love to shop voucher, HTC Desire, Olive oil cooking spray, Original Source Strawberry Shower Gel, Garnier skin care hamper, Marc Jacobs fragrance.0 -
If the OP's mum had already been in trouble for benefit fraud, then lent the OP a large amount of money, the mum would be treated as still having the money and would receive less in benefits (google 'deprivation of capital'). I doubt if anyone on benefits could give away £10k to charity one year, have a boob job the previous year, and still lend two daughters large amounts of money.
I agree with wanchai, this is sounding very odd now. I don't usually recognise trolls, but I am suspicious of this, given the last couple of posts by the OP.0 -

So you are also party to benefit fraud by opening an account she could use.
no of course you shouldn't live in misery just borrow money spend it on wedding, holidays, children, frivolities and the devil take the hindmost.
Your whole family better watch your backs or you will all be facing prison for benefit fraud.
Lol if you insist considering im not commiting benefit fraudWins so far this year: Mum to be bath set, follow me Domino Dog, Vital baby feeding set, Spiderman goody bag, free pack of Kiplings cakes, £15 love to shop voucher, HTC Desire, Olive oil cooking spray, Original Source Strawberry Shower Gel, Garnier skin care hamper, Marc Jacobs fragrance.0 -

But by setting up the account it does seem that you are assisting your mother in benefit fraud, I can't see HMRC taking it lightly were they to find out.
Anyway, I do agree it is unfair of your mum to take issues with you out on your children, but there are ways to avoid the situation, don't go to your mums till after all the gifts have been handed out, thus avoiding the distraction problem.Cross Stitch Cafe Member No: 86 :j0
