Samsung tocco lite ( design collection )

Has anybody got the Samsung tocco lite ( design collection)? Only my mum wants a new phone and carphone warehouse has this for about 39 quid. Just wondering if anybody has any good / bad reviews about it.

In my opinion the Tocco Lite is an excellent phone. I've got two: the first I bought a couple of years ago for about £90 and the second was a freebie. I was still using my first Tocco Lite up until a few days ago when I bought a new phone. It's pretty tough too. Can't remember the number of times I've dropped it on to a hard floor... and it still worked.

Downsides:

it's not 3G, so Internet browsing is a little slow, although not too bad using Opera Mini;

it's touch screen is restive rather than the capacitive. Having said that, I find my new phone with a capacitive touch screen a little too responsive;

there aren't very many apps available for it.

But it's a great little phone for calls and text messages. A touch screen phone isn't suitable for everyone, though.
