I have to pay 55%

I'll help you reclaim the unfair PPI-reclaiming fee.
for a small fee of 100% of the fee recovered.0 -
I think some people have been very unfair with the comments, if we were all "perfect" we would not have paid these fees and charges in the first place! Right?
Ok, so I used one of these companies, we are talking small hundreds in my case. I made a complaint and stated that I felt the charges were unfair and that I was now claiming against them because I felt tricked.
Ok so it's been 15 months and I have not heard another word.
Something worked for me, but it may just me they don't chase the smaller amounts or I may have to pay down the line.
Complain and see what they do for you, you never know even a 5% saving will be a good saving.
Good Luck and ignore the mean comments. :-)0 -

sorry if you thought they were mean, I guess I can see you may think that.
my point really is against the companies that are doing this again to people who have already had the PPI problem. As is a tale, so is life: not how long it is, but how good it is, is what matters.0 -

So you messed up, and then you messed up again ... It's not about being perfect, it's about learning from your mistakes. It is pretty clear that you still have not. Hardly in a position to give advice, eh?0 -

how much of that will go to these terrible companies. Ludicrous.
But they provide a legitimate service which is in demand from some consumers. The only way to close them is not to go to them. No customers equals no business.0 -

some people and there comments are so rude!
i think 55% is way to much, most credit companies just 29.5% ive neever come across a comany that has charged that much i would have a word with the FOS, or maybe still FLA based in London
Good luck x0 -

It is. However, that is what the OP agreed to before they employed the company to provide their services.
I wanted some work done in the my garden. One quoted £1000, another £2000 and another £9000. If I chose the one that cost £9000, do you think that I should then refuse to pay them when the work was complete?most credit companies just 29.5%
Its not a credit company.i would have a word with the FOS, or maybe still FLA based in London
Why? What do you think they can do with a firm that they have no remit to deal with?I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0 -

Insert the word 'thick' between 'some' and 'consumers'.
My Mrs had a loan with Nationwide before I met her. I decided to have a crack at getting the PPI back. I had to write two letters.
I got her just over £1200 back. With two letters done myself.
I have no sympathy for thick people who get taken for a ride. You should have paid more attention at school if you can't write a simple letter yourself and need to get a company to do it for you. I see it as a tax on idiots.0
