Boots 1/2 Price Sale

Just rang Lincoln store and have been told it is DEFINITELY NOT on tomorrow - she said they get told the day before and whilst she cant say anything about next Wednesday she can say without question its not tomorrow!!

I do think that even if the sale doesn't start again online (although I do think it will) the website will change from showing "half price sale continues instore" to 75% off sale now instore - or something along those lines.

I can remember last year the 50% off sale was live online right up until midnight, then it changed to the holding page with the couple skiing just after midnight and it stayed that way until around 4 am.

Roll on midnight ! :j

I have just spoke to my local store and the manager has confirmed that it is tomorrow. I speak to her every year and she has never let me down. Have a look at my past posts and you will see that I confirmed it last year aswell. Woo hoo I am so happy, I have been doing the 75% off sale for the last 6 years and was worried that I wont beable to make it this year because I am now a student nurse and I am on work placement next Wednesda

I don't know why they don't just announce the date like all the other shops when they have their sales/advertise on telly etc?

went to the whiterose store today, like most other stores alot of stock left had a quick look nothing special caught my eye, 3-4 perfume gift sets left defo wn't be there 2mrif they cos if they do go down to 75% sa will av will take them hth

There's nothing much left at my local store, it's only a small branch. I'll try online, but I'm working tomorrow till noon, so I doubt they'll be anything left if it's on (although the SA said definatey NOT tomorrow for my branch). TBH I've done the sale for the past few years, so I need something different to give as gifts this Christmas, think my family and friends must be bored, of FCUK, Ted Baker and Santurary!

If they announced it on TV it'd be like Next! :eek::eek::eek: I can put up with all the secrecy and uncertainty - it means that I'm the only person there when the doors open!!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Because the ebay sellers little ears stand up and they dash out to make a quick buck and much like most people Boots don't like it, although everywhere seems to be doing 75% or more at the moment so not much profit in it for them anyway.

I go to get my daughter toys for Birthday and Christmas (luckily at the age where specific items aren't asked for yet) as I cant afford to be buying plastic tat at hugely overpriced prices.

Every year these two women come up to my local and put their arms out and clear every shelf into their trollies (where they find the bloody trollies I will never know) and they quite happily shout across the store at how much they could get on ebay. Sod the rest of us wanting a bargain right? Think I will try Horsham instead this year, more stock and less fuss.

I'm not too bothered about the 75% off sale, there is nothing I want or need (I got the Sanctuary gifts I needed at 50% off and if I wasn't happy with those prices, I wouldn't have purchased in the first place) but I wish the date was announced just so everyone stops talking about it, posting new 'Boots sale 75% off' threads and guessing when it will be I bet Boots staff are fed up of phone calls asking when the 75% off sale will start too.
