  • Does anyone thinks it's worth contacting Halifax/MasterCard and dispute the transaction hence Royal Mail are saying there is no order on the system but the money has been taken.

Custardly's advice is spot on as usual. When you place an order for a redirection of mail, whether it be at the post office or online. The delivery office don't get notification until a day or two before it's due to start. Therefore if you go down to the office and explain the situation to the delivery office manager and if you can catch your regular postman too and explain the situation there's a good chance you can get it stopped. That's the main thing at the moment.

As for getting the refund. Keep on at customer services. They are updating all their systems at the moment. And it's not going as smoothly as they would have liked. Typical RM updating their systems at their busiest time of the year eh?
