i was told last week that my process will be completed by December 21st and money would be in the account same week.
i have been checking my account all night / early hours of the morning for absolutely nothing to show. i called the the number and spoke to someone who said your claim has been processed but your getting nothing until the 28th and your other payment later. as your sick line only went up to the 16th of the month.
i explained i was on the phone last week checking where to send paper work and that the woman made a note on the system there is a 2nd sick line to come and it may be delayed due to Christmas post. but my payment would be fine.
the guy i spoke to said no we had not had anything so your not entitled to any other money from us as you have not sent out a 2nd sick line. i told him to listen to what i am saying and that i sent a 2nd sick line out last week and it was dated from 12th Dec - 2nd Jan and he said well phone back after 12 as we dont get post until 11and you can check then if we have had it arrive. other wise get a copy from your gp and send it in again.
told him how can i get a copy when the dr's is closed or i wont be able to get an appointment today because it will be so busy due to closing for Christmas , his reply was that's your problem nothing we can do , anything else i can help you with if not then good bye.

sorry NASA i forgot i was to put my sick line into an envelope , put the correct address onto the outside of the envelope , walk to post box insert envelope into post box , made sure it landed in the bottom , then what else could i have done ? oh wait thats right send it registered oh wait need money for that or i could have asked royal mail just to send it registered free yeah like that would have worked.
or wait hang on i should have maybe walked 1 day 8 hours to the centre ive to send all paper work to, and then walked the 1 day 8 hours back home. silly me for not doing that properly.
And as it happens my original sick line was for 2 weeks , expired the 16th i sent that in plenty of time and it did not reach them until 14th and i was told it would not be processed until 21st and i would get the money that same week. mean while my dr had arranged to see me for a check up in between issuing me the first sick line and the 2nd . though i had to see an other dr who said it was strange that i was issued a sick line for just 2 weeks and told to come back before it expired to get an other sick line this time for 4 weeks which i sent i could hardly send it before i was issued it from the dr could i ? . i was issued it on the 12th and it was to expire on the 2nd jan i sent the sick line to the correct address as instructed to and it was sent on the 13th so hardly my fault ,,,
cheers for that P00 , ive to call my dr's surgery Wednesday to make sure they have the duplicate sick line available for me. so i will call theJCP first to see if they did get my 2nd sick line or if they have not , then call my dr's to see if the duplicate is ready and go collect it and try again by sending the duplicate out.0
