Most do a great job and the one on the oldstyle forum does a fantastic job but there are a couple of forums that could do with some attention so maybe there should be a review of BG's every year or so.

I have never seen the BG for the water forum at all and none of my PM's have ever been answered ( I wanted to update the sticky and was told that was the best way to do it) so as much as there are some great ones there are also some who are less active.

just noticed that I did have a point. This thread was originally posted on freebies, they have now got a new BG who is doing an excellent job, because she frequents freebies. Good luck Sarah 1972

The BG's cant be sacked as its a voluntary thing to do.

Lorweld and Heather always do any moderating that I send them within a day unless of course when life gets in the way. They cant sit here online all day with nothing else to do.

PS. you have given them sone work to do aswell though, pm'd Lorweld to move to the discussions thread as this is not a no spend freebie.

[strike]are these members that can be PM'd if moderation is needed? It is not always "practical" to "report" posts as this simply fires up an email client assuming it is all set up and ready to go, which isn't always the case.[/strike]

EDIT: scratch that! I just tried "reporting" my own post and it goes to an inline form. I must be going bonkers or it was recently changed.

You're not wrong - I clicked the button and it takes me to Outlook. Is it not meant to?
  • Strange, as the online reporting form has been in use since 2010 and even if you aren't logged in it takes you to a form where you fill in your name and email address to make your report.

works fine for me I just get a web based form no need for outlook
  • Hi

Just a reminder the report forum is for reporting posts you feel are offensive, which the board guides don't see because they're not part of the Forum Team.

To suggest a thread for moving/merging scroll down to the bottom of the relevant board -the board guides' names are on the right hand side - and send a PM to all board guides for that board and one of them will do it when they're next available.

    Thank you :)
