Orange Early Upgrade

Hi im thinking of upgrading my contract early, it ends in may and im due for an upgrade in Feb, i know im going to have to pay a cancellation fee but just wondered if anyone knew if the charge would be my monthly fee up until may or until feb?

Also is it best to upgrade through the network themselves or go to somewhere like carphone warehouse as there prices seem to be alot better than on the orange website

Cancellation will be to minimum term, ie May.

If you upgrade in Feb it usally gets added on so if you sign up for 18 months it becomes a 21 month contract and 24 becomes 27month minimum term.

Where to upgrade purely depends on who has the better offers, probably less hassle through the network but as you say not the best offers.

Far better to let the contract minimum term complete. Buy your chosen phone and swap the SIM over. You then have a 30 day contract you can end when you want, and no lock-down.
