How did you get on. My iPhone is up for renewal next month fed up of the small 3.5" screen size for when browsing on the go. I am edging towards the Note as my next phone.

    Any comments/reviews greatly received.

Congratulations and I hope you enkoy the Note.

Please let me know how you get on with it too. I'm looking for a new phone to replace my trusty old Desire and my only must haves are a higher resolution screen and an SD card slot. The Note looks great (and the only phone I'm aware of which currently meets those requirements), but it's so much bigger - my main concern is over how self-conscious you feel/how many odd looks you get making calls on a tea tray.

Oh and more seriously, how practically pocketable it is and how easy it is to use as a phone. I tend to dial one handed using my contacts and I'm not sure that's practical with the Note.

When I upgrade next month the shortlist are the Note (1st Place) followed by the HTC One X (4.7" screen). Thankfully Phones 4U have working models on display, but will end buying direct from O2.

oooooh I'm jealous... I bought a Galaxy S2 back in February, and have to say I'm chuffed to bits with it, but would have liked a Note I think. It's on a 24 month contract, so fair-enough, I'll stick with it.

Problem is I'm a bit of a gadget geek I'm afraid (unusual trait for a woman, so I'm told).

Do let us know how you like it.
I try not to get too stressed out on the forum. I won't argue, i'll just leave a thread if you don't like what I say. :)
  • I've been looking into the Note today.
Unusually, I'm a 3 customer that's happy with the service.
They're not offering any great deals on the Note for me though.
However, I've found it on the 1 plan at buymobiles.net
£110 up front payment and £25 a month.
Seems to me it's a saving of over £200 against 3 and there's £30 topcashback too.

Very tempted, going to consider it over the weekend.

My son is thinking of one of these, when I had a look today, my first thought was he'd need a man-bag lol.
Looks like a great phone though :-)

It's a great phone and nice screen

I have found it too big for everyday use.
If anyone of you thinking of buying check the size over two or three times (everything looks good first time) and make sure you are happy with it. It's difficult to put it in the pocket.
