Google! Worked for me - if they are good dogs they will come up as winning stuff.

There seems to be plenty of info on the father but nothing on the mother. I'm assuming the mother has never been shown. Although, when looking at ads for other Beddie pups, googled the names they have & only the adverts come up in google.

I'm starting to get the impression that it's a bit of a hit or miss thing when getting a pedigree dog.

For specific health info on a named dog, try the Health Tests Result Finder on the KC website. Though non-mandatory tests may not be included and you need the full name of the dog.

There is a facility (Mate Select) to look at the genetic diversity of any mating, to check that the line is not too inbred.

You often won't find much info on a brood b1tch. A good breeder will have her tested and ensure she is a good example of the breed, but pregnancy and rearing pups means a female is less likely to have a long show career. A lot of breeders will refer back to the b1tch's sire ( it's almost as though they think the female line doesn't matter so much !). If they have produced 2 litters of pups, 7 months apart, you need to ensure that they are from different b1tches. Basically, only a puppy farmer would allow back-to-back breeding in 2 consecutive seasons from the same mother.
