iPhone Options Tesco or Vodaphone?
So, would like a iPhone 4s 32gb. Not too worried about the term as I look after my phones and this phone has the features I would be looking for over this period. So called Vodaphone retentions, as my current contract with them still has to run until 13th May.
I have two options with Vodaphone directly.
1) Pay £41 per month over 24 months, plus an additional 5 months or so, making 29 months in total, plus an outlay of £139 for the phone. Total contract price = £1318
2) Pay the £119 early contract closure fee directly to get my PAC code, then sign up to the 24 month contract at £41 per month, £139 outlay for the phone to pay. Total Contract Price = £1242
Option three is looking like a winner…
Buy Tesco Sim only deal for £12.50 (has the same mins/text as Vodaphone and more data allowance plus unlimited BT Wifi, and buy the phone directly from Apple using their 10month 0% APR Finance. Total Contract price = £899
Obviously options 3 is cheaper, but has anyone any experience of Tesco Sim's in iPhones? Reliable Service both in Tesco customer Service and Signal reception?
I could reduce all the total costs slightly by recycling my Bold 9700, but I haven't included that here.
Comments gratefully received!:T

Took this out a few weeks ago (9th) and it became live on the 12th of dec as my number ported.
No real problem, a few odd texts, Tesco say I have wifi for 12 months but it's a 3 month contract, but other than that its OK and it was a microsim so I didn't need to cut it down myself.
Runs on the o2 network so signal reception is whatever the O2 signal is by you. Customer service? I dealt with someone in store to set it up and that was fine, not called customer service otherwise.0 -

Re Tesco's signal, they use O2 network.
Re Tesco's CS, I don't know, but beggars can't be choosers.0 -
IMHO, for a person with £27K debt, including expensive credit cards, it's madness even to consider an expensive early upgrade or paying ETC and wasting £1.3K on an expensive toy with some enormous amount of expensive airtime.
