How can I get my laptop to fax things?

    There are websites which will send faxes for you. Just upload the document, provide a number and you're done. Alternatively, there are also email-to-fax services which amount to the same thing.

    I use Fax1 www.fax1.com - once you have an account you can use it from several different PCs or laptops. About 5p per fax but have to buy a $10 block first.

    If (like me) you only send the occasional fax to those who do not accept e mail. You might be easier going to an internet cafe. Coffe and a brandy for 2.5€, whilst I wait for it to be sent.
