i have an oilcloth nappy bag that needs a good wash, what's the safest way to do so without ruining it. i know the oilcloth can be wiped clean but the trims etc are fabric and they need a good wash too, what would be the best way to wash it?

thank you! i had a look but unlike a tablecloth it has metal buckles and it's padded so i'm worried about it losing its shape
edit - if bung it in the washing machine i mean!0 -
You could handwash perhaps? If the padding is like you get in a duvet, then it should stay put. Might be difficult to dry, mind you. It's a kill or cure situation really, alizee.
good luck,0 -
Yep, i handwashed it in the bath in relatively shallow water so it doesn't get too soaked! we'll see how it goes when it dries!0
