Bloody semantics. Well done Smartie :T

This may be quite easy but here goes:

A man walks from one side of the street to the other. When he reaches the other side, everyone cheers. Why?

Not sure about this one....bet it's one of those that makes you feel a right div when you know the answer but I can't get it yet....still trying though!:)

I have one of the jigsaw holders that folds up like a book. Only problem is the shear size - nowhere to store it easily!

The biggest puzzle I have ever done is a 9000 piece one of the Tower of Babel - took me six months and the only way I was going to see it fully made up was to stick it to a board! I had to do it in quarters cos it is so big!!

Thats dedication. Think I would lose interest :(

32,000 - imagine how many you could lose.
Something unexpected happened which made me smile and still continues to make me smile.

Shouldn't take long if we all get together, say 3 times as long as it takes this thread to get to 10,000 posts.:beer::rotfl:

Today has been a total fcuk up...

Drove to Aberdeen (30 miles) so I could take Molly to the vets, back to mine for a shower, pick up my toothbrush and DVD's before going to the dentist. Got to Aberdeen and realised that my flat keys were in my coat pocket back at mums.

Took Molly to the PDSA and as I was hoping they would do a blood test to test her thyroid. Before we went in for our appointment I made sure I left a large donation to cover the blood test. Vet wouldn't do a blood test as they are only allowed to do 3 a month and need more evidence of one being needed.

Went to T's and picked up a cheap toothbrush (70p) so I could go to a mates and brush my teeth before going to the dentist. I got to the dentist to find out that my dentist was off ill and that they had left a message on my home answering machine. So I wasted 70p on a toothbrush.:mad:

Went to T's Extra, what a mistake, over an hour to get out the fcuk ing car park and other drivers were pushing in left right and centre.
O Dear :) Never mind tomorrows another day .:D
