Today has been a total fcuk up...

Drove to Aberdeen (30 miles) so I could take Molly to the vets, back to mine for a shower, pick up my toothbrush and DVD's before going to the dentist. Got to Aberdeen and realised that my flat keys were in my coat pocket back at mums.

Took Molly to the PDSA and as I was hoping they would do a blood test to test her thyroid. Before we went in for our appointment I made sure I left a large donation to cover the blood test. Vet wouldn't do a blood test as they are only allowed to do 3 a month and need more evidence of one being needed.

Went to T's and picked up a cheap toothbrush (70p) so I could go to a mates and brush my teeth before going to the dentist. I got to the dentist to find out that my dentist was off ill and that they had left a message on my home answering machine. So I wasted 70p on a toothbrush.:mad:

Went to T's Extra, what a mistake, over an hour to get out the fcuk ing car park and other drivers were pushing in left right and centre.

Was thinking about getting one of those mats that you can do them on and then roll them up, don't suppose you happen to know if they actually work?!

Really wanna do a jigsaw now!

I don't know if they work I have never had a mat. I get my jigsaws from charity shops, I don't mind if it has a couple of pieces missing - makes it more interesting :D but you can tell if they have been rolled up previously because the don't lie flat. 90% are like this so the roll up mats must be popular.
Something unexpected happened which made me smile and still continues to make me smile.

Possible spoiler - maybe not though!

It doesn't say Fred is twice as old as Sue or it would be too easy lol!

My answer is below but I'm not sure if it's right, don't look if you don't want to!

    I think...

    Fred is 28 , Sue is 21.

You have to do it backwards , so if Sue is 21 now , when Fred was 21 Sue was 14 and it says Fred is now twice that old.

    Is that right Jumble?

  • Havent left the house today but apparantly local Ts was crazy busy, glad I'm all organised on the shopping front (for once).Managed to get my oven fixed :T. Phoned the local rip-off/fix it shop who wanted £50 call out but couldnt come till Wed!! Told them to shove it....part I thought had gone was £30 online so was gonna try myself but a friend recommended a local handyman who used to work for the rip off merchants and didnt agree with their tactics. Phoned him at 11, he was here at 3, spent 15 mins fitting the part and charged me £45. So happy I spent the afternoon baking MB cupcakes so the house smells yum, just have to ice them now and I can sit down with a glass of wine and relax knowing all is done. Merry Christmas everyone
