BTW the store was in South T3lf0rD - they also had lots of the telescopes, keyboards and guitars - but didn't check them as don't need them (and couldn't afford them) - and the scanner is in the next aisle ;-)

Forgot to mention a wonderful "happening" when I got refused DTD as I had used a self scan til, I rang CS and spoke to a lovely chap who asked if I would mind waiting while he rang the store, the trout that refused me the DTD answered the phone, I think the CS chap was supposed to have blanked my end of the convo but I could hear it all The CS chap told the trout that T's policy was DTD with all over charges, when the trout said that I had gone through the SS tills the CS chap asked the trout if "customers had the ability to amend SS tills now??" The trout flushed bright red, I was then given DTD but the trout was so annoyed she shoved the money in my hand, when I got back to the car she had given me DTD but she had already given me the overcharge If it had been a nice CA I would have returned the money.

Very pleased for Swindon, fell asleep when we were 1-0 down so i was surprised when i heard the results and we had got a replay. I need to start being nicer about Heidar Helguson but he does miss some absolute sitters :eek:

Couldn't find any bargains at all today, was particularly after some wpooh mugs but not a sniff.

How much are the cupcake duvet sets scanning for, seen a couple in R!sca but didn't realise they might have been really cheap?

I am after the xbox 360 rockband 3 keyboard bundle from Mr. T, sold out online and none in R!sca or [EMAIL="C@rdiff"]C@rdiff[/EMAIL] [EMAIL="Ro@d"]Ro@d[/EMAIL], but will try Sp!tty tomorrow if I can, its awkward with my mum in hospital. She seemed to be making progress last couple of days but not very well at all today again.

Hi Grumpy,

I know i found it hard last year when my OH was made redundent, just before xmas 2010, was a real struggle, working out a budget and sticking to it, paying a mortgage on 1 wage and then theres all the other bills, i had just had my DS and already had 3 DD's, so finding this site has been a god send to be honest,
Im hoping for a better year this year, my OH got a job with local council in Nov :jSo things are looking up for us,
Heres to you finding a new job, :beer:
and hope mr T brings us plenty also:D
