Thank-you very much to the person who first mentioned the telescopes..:T:T:T..sorry forgot who it was.

Had a successful visit to Upp£rb0at Tesco today, no telescopes on display but asked a man and he went out the back and returned with a cage full. I had 2 and a man nearby also took 2. A female assistant asked me if I knew the price and I replied that they were £25 just after Christmas so was hoping they would be the same price but she went to scan them and returned and I thought she was going to refuse to sell them but she said ' I don't know if you still want them but they are £1' and then she laughed and said 'you have a bargain'. Very nice lady. While walking around with them in my trolley several people asked where in store they were. Saw a few people later with telescopes so store must have quite a few. :):)

No clip strip items although did get DTD on the JML sandwich toaster bags..SEL £1.75...scanned £3.99 :):)

I was told that the "people" (word used very loosely) get hotel accommodation, meals and are paid expenses. I have watched bits and pieces of the programme but have banned it from being viewed in this house. I was talking to a Health Visitor, whose job includes visiting houses on a very poor housing estate, and she said that every house she visits on that estate has JK on whatever time of day it is. Very sad.
I don`t watch it on a regular basis, but for some unkown reason I turned on the television .It`s very sad to think children are watching this and some may think this is the norm in family life :(

Just bought 2 10 pks of magners, sel said £8.99 or 2 for £12 was charged £17.98. Didn't notice the overcharge till I left the shop ;)

Went back 10 mins later and was refused dtd, the women said we don't do that here ( express store) she tried to refund me the difference but I refused and said I would phone cs. Which is what I'm about to do , update later.

When I was overcharged in an Express they also said they did not do DTD any more. But they said they offered a full refund and I got to keep the product, which was fine with me.

Can I ask you lovely people for advice??! I finally have enough money to do a 'proper' shop and need washing powder and conditioner etc. I already have my persil and comfort vouchers - where is the best place to use them? I do ALOT of washing being a family of 8, so hoping to make the most of this! Thanku :)

I had an email back saying my refund had been processed, but no hint of apology or anything. I am going off to look for their version of Uncle Phil.....

Thanks for keeping me sort of sane last night folks, much appreciated :)

Glad you got your refund, but what a nightmare. I'm glad I don't have to use travel agents. Stand-by staff tickets for me, and booking my own hotels.
