Re the slow cookers HC....I've got two. One ancient one which you can use on the hob to start stuff off then it sits on it's own little hot plate base. This hasn't got a choice of settings and is a sloooooow slow cooker! The second one is the more usual type. A crock pot which sits inside the heated outer metal bit. This one has two heat setting so can cook things a bit quicker if you want.
TBH I prefer my older one as you can seal meat etc or start curries off before leaving them to finish off slowly

Its worth asking at the pharmacy if they have any goody bags. I had something price checked there tonight and was asked if I wanted one! It contained a 500ml SoBe vitamin water, a 300ml bottle of Bio true contact lens solution, 2 Redbush tea bags, a 7 day pack of wellwoman multivitamins, a small sample of Bach Rescue Night , a £1 moc for Activia 4 or 8 pack yoghurt and 50p moc for all Colgate manual toothbrushes, nice freebie!

Sorry to cut your post down hun, I did read it all. You sound like such a fab supportive mum, it can't be easy for any of you! It's still raw for me about my stepnana I cried going past her flat today But you are doing a fab job of being there for them, they will come round in their own time although I know in the mean time it isn't easy, hope tomorrow goes well xx

Evening guys,

i had a nice experience with whopsies over at mr t's earlier this evening, got myself a lovely little haul, £15 tesco finest boquet of flowers (half of which is still yet to "bloom") for 13p!!! all the fancy voil and ribbons must of cost more than that alone! also a nice bunch of tulips for 3p!
got some houmous for 2p, finest pork belly 23p, some "little dish" ready meals for my 1 yr old 21p for 3 of them, have put them in the freezer!

Also got aunt bessies potato croquets, £1.50 on offer down to £1 so with my fb coupon 50p! my LO loves these so she has them if i have chips. And finally got the 2 for £3 chicken, when i went to CS the lady couldnt of been lovelier, she even told me that with dtd the computer automatically gives dtd after she types in the details of the product so may be 1 to ask about if you ever get it refused.....
