Oh Kadison of course you can have lots of hugs. Don't say sorry it's better to let it all out than keep it in, that's what we are here for as cyber friends. Not just Ts! Anxiety is not an easy thing to cope with have been there myself, but talking about it does help. :)

    Take care x

TBH I was only rabbiting on to my counsellor (sp?) about it yesterday, I'm dreadful at calling NHS direct to put my mind at ease! Cheers Tinyshoes x

Mind you I didn't realise how much flooding & damage there is around here  Journey to Shrewsbury on the train was like being on Moses' back with the parting of the flood water

Went to QVC & got a Slanket :) Proper one - on offer for £9.99 in a white leopard spot. Really complicated to get on :o I thought it was like a gown but no its a blanket with sleeves - doh!& a foot trough  cat already giving it a pummel :undecided

Spent £24 in M&S on Stroganoff sauce  as it's never in stock normally - it is delicious

    Oh er.
Admittedly it is rather long.............just holding it up now whilst sweeping the kitchen floor with it. Perhaps the foot trough is a dustpan for the bits?
I was hoping to be swanning around in it but with the open back like a hospital gown, I MUST NOT turn my back :rotfl:

Sounding very promising, guess you meant thick brown one. Glad I'm not the only one who tried this trick. ;)

2 of my DDs participation in sport takes us there. Probably wont get any further than sitting in a sports hall all day and Premier Inn in the evenings! ;)

Not sure if it is actually your way but think I noticed you posted something about scanner there earlier.

Good luck to DD. Not sure if you've visited there before. If spare time, wander up the road from the PI to the Galleria - outlet shops, cinema and restaurants. Or in the other direction to t's, both within walking distance. Large A's in the town centre - usually cheapest fuel in the area!

Over the years we have worked over there alot! One or two very big trouts to be seen locally, with the younger versions being very nice.icon12.gif

    Well done! :)

Can someone tell me how? I caught the "room temp cream, cold bowl", is there anything else i need to add? Is it double or single cream? I also caught the bit about adding salt to my liking.
    Thanks in advance:)

Really want a go at making butter but, as yet, found no whoopsie cream :(
In the mean time I have found this link, I like to have the instructions in front of me when making something new so have printed them off ready :) Hope they help someone else..:)

    Afternoon!

Called NHS direct as the facial pulling sensation was screaming stroke-symptoms to my over-anxious hyperchondiac brain, even though my rational brain kept testing myself for facial weakness, slurred speech and not being able to lift my arms above my head, none of which applied. I still managed to whip myself into a frenzy and even started packing for a hospital stay, all the while telling myself not to be so stupid as it was probably the eye strain causing the rest of the nerves to tense up.

Decided that just in case, I would carry on packing for this supposed hospital stay and get showered and dressed in case I was told to go to A&E.

In any event she told me from the symptoms it wasn't giving her any cause for concern as it sounded like the 'trigeminal' muscles that can pull in your face if there's pressure like with severe eye strain, she also told me to get my glasses adjusted so that they were more comfortable as that could be making it worse.

At which point I burst into tears because I felt like such a fool calling up, then she was nice to me again which made it worse. She did say to get to the doctors about my increasing anxiety though as she said that sounded like the most serious thing, I was considering it anyway but having laid in bed for a solid hour this morning flitting between sobbing my heart out thinking I was having a stroke and feeling catatonic and unable to move from fear, I think she's right!

I can't keep on like this, it's no way to live. Feeling very alone though so could I have a :grouphug: please?

    Sorry to go on :o

huge hugs. if its the trigeminal its very painful hun. mine played up for just over 2 yrs (4 months of that i just couldnt work) become quite down with it all, such pain in my face mine was on the left hand side all round my ear down the face nose cheek and ear. such splitting headaches too. at times i couldnt get out of bed and with a full time job and 2 kids i really struggled.
i was given epilepsy drugs in the end to help ease it.

funny enough when i fell pregnant it disappearred samuel is 14 weeks old now and i only get a light ache and the odd twinge
now proud mum to 3 handsome boys :j latest one born 10/10/11:j
