  • THe third thing was in the camping aisle called 'beach bag' It was a waterproof black bag with tiny white polka dots on for 11p. ...and now that I am home I am wondering WHY??? did I not get one???? Ah well, someone else can!

Got one of them last month for 50p - I've been robbed!!

No idea why I bought it, as if I need any more bags :rotfl::rotfl:

Actually I keep my Autoharp in it now.

Just had a phone call from C**et HO about the laptop fiasco. They have asked me exactly what I want and I said a laptop that is the same spec as the one I've paid for! They are trying to get me one and will get back to me:T:TThey asked if I minded if it's pink, Pink, I love pink, but can you get a good spec lappie in pink:cool:

Edit: Just had another phone call, they've got me one with a blue trim. It'll be ready Monday and the store manager will phone when he gets it. Can't wait to see him, he's the one that doesnt talk to customers:rotfl::rotfl:

I hope you poke his lapel to check he's real. That "doesn't talk to customers" nonsense deserves some payback.

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker I've been Money Tipped!
I've left a post on Techie Forum but thought I'd ask you lot here also, as I know you all know where the bargains are.

My DH has offered to buy me a new Lappie, woooohooooo. Anyway after looking on a few sites I'm now confused. Obviously I want the best, biggest memory, biggest had drive etc etc for the money. Budget is up to £375.
Where has the best deals, which laptops peform well. I use mine for Family History research, email, surveys, photos etc, NO GAMING, well maybe bingo on a couple of sites lol.
    I've seen a HP with a memory of 6GB and a 640GB Hard drive for £349 and a Asus with a 4GB Memory and 750 Hard drive also £349.

Anything considered really as long as it is fast and big memory and hd. Ooooooops just had to 'flack' the moths away as DH has wallet open lol
There's no place like home :)

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.
  • As a follow up to the "home made butter" and "slow cooker" discussions just got a juice extractor from Argos £5.99, reasonable reviews, going to use it when I buy all the woopsied oranges etc .. I often get bags of oranges at 10p so will pay for itself quite quickly and save us a small fortune in morning fruit juice ! http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/4234717/c_1/1%7Ccategory_root%7CKitchen+and+laundry%7C14418476/c_2/2%7C14418476%7CClearance+Kitchen+and+laundry%7C14520894.htm#pdpFullProductInformation
    If it's full price I don't buy it..if its 50% off I will consider it..if it's whoopsied and I have a coupon its in the trolly! ;)

just remembered..the other night i saw some of the Sam dolls (the male version of the £6 'Sally' dolls everyone thought were scary!)...SEL was * £18...didnt scan to see what it actually was but they had quite a few so might be worth keeping an eye on if anyone wants a partner to the scary Sally doll!!! :)
