I would always hand wash underwired bras. Apart from the possible dammage to the washing machine, it doesn't do nice bras much good shoving them round and round a machine!

Do you have roasting tin? if so they you can cook it in that as a traybake cake instead (Mary Berry does loads of traybake recipes). it wil be thinner though, so will take less time to cook.
