    Good luck Nikki & Happy on your diets :T

    I seriously need to lose a few stones :( but have absolutely no will power. Thinking about a 'Mindband' - the hypnotic gastric band :o

    Never heard of this... But got to be a better option than a real gastric band!
    I don't like scales either, the eating clinic I used to go to had an obsession with weighing me every bloody week.

    I'm the opposite, I need to see the weight coming off each week, or I'll cheat!!
    I have to be in the right frame of mind to diet but I can lose it relatively easy once I really go for it. ...but it's keeping it off that's my problem. I lose the weight then go back to eating all the carp I used to, then stop weighing so I can kid myself I'm not putting it back on again :mad:

    My cholesterol was really high a few years ago and I was given the British Heart Foundation diet sheet to see if losing weight would bring the cholesterol down without the need for medication.
    It worked brilliantly, and basically was just healthy eating.
    I find porridge is the best thing ever if you are on a diet.

    I've got a diet buddy too.....HC's sister Westvleteren.
    I reckon we'll wup Nikkilala's and HC's azzes :rotfl::rotfl:

    So, who else also thinks 'Squeak' is cute..... he's even housetrained!!!!! Only Doo Doo's in the garden when I take him out! How clever is that?

    Thought i'd add another couple of pics of Cookie, the 'cat that found me'. She's doing very well since loosing her kittens.... has had a few health issues to get over since being taken in, but is doing soooo well now..... when we were away for a few days she had a holiday at my sisters house, but my DS was so pleased to get her home this afternoon.... they are bestest buddies!:T

    Can I just ask, would it be overkill for one person who lives alone, to have two freezers? And how much do you reckon a second freezer (say a large upright) would cost to run?
