    The only pics I have of wounds, injuries etc is of my dad's leg ulcer and thats def not something you want to see over your breakfast/lunch/dinner, so I will need to await the next subject and see if I can join in then :(

    It's the Paul Mckenna diet. You listen to the cd everyday for about 20 minutes and some how it gets in your head;)Eat what you like and stop when you're full. It worked for me before but my no smoking got in the way but now that's under control I'm ready to start again. But I think some of its still stuck in my head because I've given up smoking, had Xmas and not put on a pound:T:TGot mine fom Waterstones for about £10 which is the book and cd.

    :eek::eek::eek:

    Nikki that was not very MSE ;););)!!!

    Waterstones is so expensive - you can get them second hand on Amazon for 1p + P&P (though I would be picky about who you buy it from and ask them to double check that the CD is definitely there)

    Afternoon Elite :D tramps, trampettes, glitchers and biggest losers ;)

    Quick question, how many have had their receipt details lost on price check? I've just had a reply from CS saying unfortunately they're not able to recover my details! :mad: And I'm annoyed because it's a shop that had everything either equal or higher price than Asda and I was expecting about £5 voucher back. I've replied saying that it's not good enough (politely mind you!) and I've attached a word doc with screen caps from the Asda site that I luckily prepared just incase!! :o What do you think my chances are of them doing anything??

    I got rid of mine a few months back. Had them for 3 years. I hate my garden now. Seems so lifeless. I used to love watching them scratch around and how they fell over one another to get to me first when I entered the garden :(

    OH insisted that I got rid of them but I don't half miss my girls :(

    Awww they're so funny! We've had them for years. I'm really lucky in that we have a nice size garden but then behind we have allotments so the chickens have a whole allotment to themselves (We've got another for growing fruit/veg ;)) We only have 1 left now from the last lot we actually bought, the rest are rehomed battery hens :D When they came they were in such a poor state and they really thrive within weeks of being free range; their eggs, their coats, everything. It's a fab charity:T

    The 1st lot we got when I was about 8 and we had 10, all different breeds and we chose 1 each ourselves. Well mine became a pet! She had a bad eye and was the runt, always being picked on. We took her to the vets and my Mum bathed her eye and put drops in every day for months. She was so tame, we'd pick her up and nurse her like a baby. But the funniest thing was when she was better, she became queen bee! :D

    I am now of the strict opinion that you know your own child and when something is wrong..... 4 years ago I took my DS to A&E even though he was up and talking, but I KNEW he was very sick..... It turned out he had pnemonia, was in hospital for a week, and must have taken at least 18 months to recover. So myself and him are both very blessed to still be here. :A

    Completely AGREE!!! The doctor refused to do a blood test on me when I was 5 because he didn't want to scare me. My Mum forced him in the end and less than 24 hours later I was in hospital and having a blood tranfusion. I think sometimes you just 'KNOW!' It's happened so many times to me and my Mum over the years, they've sent us both home with blood clots in our head! :eek:
    Spent 5 hrs of new years day sitting in the hospital in agony then they announce that its going to be at least another hr before they can see me and thats only if no more emergencies come in (4 ambulances bringing drunks in) so had to call it a day and have been stuck on sofa doped to eyes with dihydrocodeine for last 2 days sorry rant over xx

    grumpys1daughter poor you lovely :( Know the feeling all too well, I'm in the process of writing a complain about A&E at my hospital :mad: Hope you're feeling much much better today? And continue to feel better in the coming days. Congratulations on the amazing weight loss but please don't push yourself too hard in panicking that you need to get back on SW straight away because it's the start of the year yadda yadda! Your health is more important right now than shifting a few pounds :A

    MEGA long message! :eek: Appologies! :o:o:o:o
