I live near the pennines about 10 mins drive away and its very windy here. Keeps going dark and having heavy downpours then brightens up. Hope you manage it to Chester tonight.

Elsie1969, so pleased that surgery was so successful even though it ain't so recent.

You brave thing. You must have been so anxious

Scared senseless before hand, and so relieved when it was done!

Think it was worse for my folks who had often ran me back and forth to hospital as a youngster, when I had apparently 'turned blue and almost died' but had always come round by the time they got me there..... they were just told that although i was their 4th daughter they were just over anxious parents.
I am now of the strict opinion that you know your own child and when something is wrong..... 4 years ago I took my DS to A&E even though he was up and talking, but I KNEW he was very sick..... It turned out he had pnemonia, was in hospital for a week, and must have taken at least 18 months to recover. So myself and him are both very blessed to still be here. :A

Oh bless, at least I could have a moan and say what was hurting when, but when it's animals you just want them to be able to let you know. xxx

Awe poor little soul i want to give it a big cuddle. I know what you mean about wishing they could let you know.
  • The haul was as follows:

63 Andrex on the go toilet tissues
5 Scotch brite non scratchy sponge thingys
11 packs of Sarah Smith pretty pattern wipes

    Total 79p

Even though I was putting these through the self scan knees trembling & looking like a dodgy shoplifter maybe....I did in fact get great pleasure putting £1 into the coin slot and having change too.

I wonder if anyone else suffers from the above symptoms at the self scan????

And if you don't have it saved, some nice person on HDUK has posted this:

Thanks to the OP for this. :D

Don't forget we aren't allowed to post direct links to vouchers on here - maybe you could change your link to go to the relevant HUKD thread? ;)
