Really easy guide for converting Square Christmas/Birthday cards into handy gift boxes

    Are you ready?

You need a Square Card, scissors, straight edge & a pen

    1. Cut the back from the front of card & cut ½cm (ish) off 2 edges of back card
    2. Draw a cross in middle of inside of each card
    3. Fold one corner into middle point & then fold over again to middle. Unfold & repeat on all other corners
    4. Cut the folds I have marked---- in picture
    5. Fold corners with shortest bits into middle & shape into box
    6. Fold last two corners into box
    7. Repeat with other piece

    Da Da :T

    GREAT instructions Snap-Ant

Continuing the box theme ... if anyone woukd like a Word doc file to make some personalised boxes then PM me ;)

BTW ... I made these with ordinary white A4 card (trimmed to make sqaures)

    awwwwwwwwww. They are all lovely.

Have just noticed that I seem to be the only one in the Stirling area on the list, I know there must be others out there as I am definately not the only one getting the bargains in the 4 tesco's local to me:)

Probably people travelling around or lurkers?

Arrrrrw Kadison - loving your pics and the history you put with them - feeling the love :A :A

Just thought, as you seemed to think my rough-coated Jack was so cute, you might want to see my favourite pic of her - when we first got her:

but with some careful feeding she soon grew up:

Awwww how sweet! I'm looking at those gates thinking we had chicken wire on ours when Lucy was a puppy as she could slip through so easily lol! Soon grew, though we fed ours on a different premium lager :rotfl:

How do you find Slimming World? I was thinking of maybe trying it some time. The only thing is I dont like diets that are too regimented, they don't fit in well with shift work.
Usually I just go for the heathly eating option, and do my own thing.

On another thread loonywitch mentioned the Daily Mirror having a discount for slimming world:

For those who begrudge paying a joining fee for Slimming World, I have good news (which also happens to be my first informative/helpful post - yay me!) I've just found the following tweet from SW in reply to someone:

I have this afternoon has a rather nasty experience with the Escalator in Asda , there I was happily going up it with my trolley , when up a head , I could see a pile up , trolleys everywhere , I had nowhere to go so as my trolley swung round my foot was getting mangled up in-between the wheels , I let out a yelp as panic set in and other shoppers were crashing into me , I felt such a fool crying out . The cause of the pileup , some silly women had decided to go up the escalator on a mobility scooter.:eek:
