Jumblejack, is this the first time you've made it or do you make it regularly?

First time. I think it was miss laid who made the inspiring post of buying cream for pennies and making butter. I tried first time last night with some of the whoopsied cream as the fireworks were stopping me from sleeping! Finished the other batches today as I was home alone so had total freedom to create havoc in the kitchen (plus I was so bored!).

I only ever use margarine (yuck!) if baking en masse for parties otherwise it's butter every time for me and mine. Costs a fortune! Even value butter is about £1.20 a block now!

I am hoping not to have to purchase it again now that I've seen how easy
(but messy) it is! Hope no one was looking too closely in the pics. I dare say there are splashes that I missed in the clean up afterwards, lol.

Well, I'm in bed already - full of cold and using up my one and only 1p andrex on the go toilet roll for my sniffles

DH just came in and said to go steady on it, as we only found one (he is a bit of a p!ss taker - lol)

So I told him that they're such a bargain, if we found more we could roll the paper onto empty toilet rolls and use them in the bathroom - which i thought was a really good mse idea

He's just about finished laughing at me now and walked away shaking his head!

Found these in the cereal aisle of my local Tesco store, possibly just a ticketing error but do scan through at this price, works out at 34p a box. BBE date of July 2012. Usually buy Coco Pops for around £1.75 for 350-375g.

Will post a proof photo shortly.

Thanks for post. My boys will have a right treat if I can get these in my store.

I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it. :)
