In fairness anyone bidding on them should probably be committed to somewhere with locks on the door and padded walls...they certainly shouldn't be walking the streets...

& definately not in those shoes they'd get wet feet!

No more bids on HCs shoes then yet, I see.

Reckon the bids will continue tomorrow as the bidding majority will be crashing on sofas nursing sore heads today.

Funny, I was just having look on Ebay as you posted this! ;) I was more looking to see if there were any new questions and answers though :rotfl::rotfl:

Thank you for cheering me up which I was in need of. We were just emptying out the shed as it's had a very serious roof leak which we weren't aware of. All my Mr T kitchen bargains are soaking wet, rabbit food, hay, car boot stuff and tons of other clutter all soaked through.

Happy New Year to you all.

Nice to see you posting Heatherlea! I hope there is not too much damage and your able to salvage your goodies from your shed!

Wow this post from last night puts some perspective on most of our lives I think!

    SpiralingDown you are an inspiration and I pray that your downward spiral slows and stops with time.........sending cyber hugs {{{{}}}}

am off to catch up now.....wondering who was posting whilst drunk .....apart from czer !!!!!! hee hee

I agree, you hear a lot of people on here and in real life making disparaging comments about their other halfs or even their Exs (when it's clear they still miss them)

the old adage of "you don't know what you've lost until it's gone" is so very true!!

so we should all appreciate what we have as you never know what is around the corner!:D

    Happy new year all!!:T

  • Happy new year to all
Just hope it's better than the last year but hey everything that could go wrong did go wrong.
I may have lost my hubbie, my house and my sanity but at least I've got DS and that's what I'm greatful for

Thats a truely inspiratonal post & so one of my NY resolutions is going to be to be more appreciative & grateful of what I have. I am usually 100% guilty of placing more emphasis on what I havent got. xx

I wish you well Spiraling down & hope that you will be on the up in 2012

Cant believe so many of you have whoopsied cream, my extra had no, zero, ziltch, nada cream yesterday! It looked like a 1980's russian super market on the cream aisle!!
What cream can you make butter from, is one better than the other? Also what are the bin deo things? Wouldnt mind some for the shoe basket in the porch!!

I am using double cream or whipping cream for my butter.

The bin deos are called croc odor. I used one last night but they are very drippy. Probably not a good idea to use anywhere other than a bin as the perfume chemicals would not be great if leaking on clothes, shoes, polished surfaces etc. bc 5100
