The blue bottle infestation seems to have peeked and I haven't spotted any today. That's around 20 that were killed in a week though. Strange thing is, most times they just sat there and awaited certain death. It was only the first couple of days that I had to play chaseys with them. Yesterday, one just sat on the back door and awaited my size 8's to get from the floor to squishing height!

Thinking of doing a little tour de Ts tomorrow seeing as its NYE and the ex has the kids. Must resist whoopsies as the freezer door just about shuts and with it being an upright, a sack of spuds is out of the equation for keeping the door shut.

Hopefully have luck tomorrow as have to go to Kn0cknag0n3y to see if they can give me a refund on some toys I bought on a whim but with a combo of not getting too wet and running through the rain my reciept got lost so hoping they can get a duplicate and I'll get my money back:D

Evening! I'm home - had to look back a few pages to see if my post by phone worked & it had, so will be able to update from on the scene again from now on!

I tried a couple of extras but no luck on the J20

I did get some Harrys nuts for 1p though bbd is jan 12 so will have to eat them up soon!

I have some terrible terrible news concerning toy glitches..... Tonight I found not 1, but 3 of the Chuggington sets that scan at 1.75 ( definately the right ones as I had some pre-christmas to give as gifts) and they are scanning at 12.95!!!!!!! Oh the shock

Then, found myself a pooh bear duplo - the 1.20 ones - fifteen bl00dy quid that scanned at!!! Well, i was most unimpressed!!

I consoled myself with some 1p fly catchy things that i'll probably never use, but were indeed a bargain and 1 single lonely andrex at 1p

No problems at till, all went through quite happily

got blood done and didn't faint woo hoo!!!
Told the Sister about my problem so she tried her best to get a good vien to start with, put the needle in and hey presto we got all we needed!
Now just to wait until WEDNESDAY to get the results

If I see someone arguing with CS I'll come over and say hello! Don't hold your breath for k'na'g being helpful. I've been trouted on 2 DTDs there but there's always another more obvious one they can't get out of just around the corner. Mind you, the excuses I got for not getting the Disney DVD one were fantastic. They ranged from "The stickers are out of date" to "we're not allowed to remove the stickers" to "yes I know that one is dated May and not October but they thought they'd bring out the ones with old stickers while the current offer was on to try and get rid of them"! Yes, a strange store indeed.
