So I inform her that I had spoken to CS & YES they should honour the Policy promise. But she wasn't having it. Wouldn't ring the CS man & I could come back tomorrow to speak to Manager :cool:
I lost it then I accused her of making me feel dirty :mad:
I've never done a DTD before, I shop regularly there, have worked along side most of the staff when we all worked for LA
So I said I want a refund
They refunded me the £39.99 in small change - I did offer them the 1p

Sorry that they treated you like that, PI is not Magnum (for those old enough) but price integrity manager(in charge of making sure SEL are correct) by offering the giftcard they are admitting they were wrong, it is difficult to argue with them sometimes so don't feel bad. Shame you are so far away I would have gone back with you.

Make sure next time there is a glitch you fill your boots they owe you big time.

My bet is on £10.50 but i hope you get more - I might be pulling sweaty trainers off OH feet when he comes in from work - yes we are that desperate at the mo lol (and have had a glass of wine so am game - not so sure he will be tho!)
