*if* i need the loo at the ikea one, i'll go to burger king across the way, not that much better but better than the alternative!
I'll give sadly broke a miss tomorrow then. I havent tried Yate yet, its too new
Gonna try a normal T tomorrow and see whats what
Glad your trip wasnt entirely wasted :j
Sadly broke was pretty good whoopsie wise from what I remember, got the clotted cream there and there was tonnes of normal cream too!
Cribbs Mall wise, I only got halfway around, I parked outside boots, went on lower level all the way to M&S, came back up and back to boots, put stuff in the car and it was raining/winding so much I decided I couldn't be @rsed and went Mr T'ing instead, although I had already done IKEA, the t's there and most of the shops on the retail park before cribbs so I was already a bit knackered lol!
I'm actually impressed I had the stamina to drive to sadly broke and then drive 1hr home (via Yate) and still had energy to get from the car to the house lol!No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries 2023

Didn't happen
sorry
Did go back & started to explain what had happened to new SA (someone I know..) who looked at me in horror when I mentioned the DTD Policy. Plus, said, she couldn't do anything as SEL had gone. 'It's in that bin there' I tell her as I had watched 1st SA screw it up & bin it.
Anyway off she trots to go & find SEL on shelf ???
Meanwhile I spot original SA & she comes over. Immediately starts telling me how after I had left she had contacted her PI (?) & the Manager & both had said no DTD but I could have a £10 gift card
So I inform her that I had spoken to CS & YES they should honour the Policy promise. But she wasn't having it. Wouldn't ring the CS man & I could come back tomorrow to speak to Manager
I lost it thenI accused her of making me feel dirty
I've never done a DTD before, I shop regularly there, have worked along side most of the staff when we all worked for LA
So I said I want a refund
They refunded me the £39.99 in small change - I did offer them the 1p
Send an email in to the "big man" explaining exactly what happened0 -

I used to be at Cribbs 2-3 times a week, used to audit Asda on the monday then do hours of mystery shopping in Cribbs itself on the other days0 -

I had thought of phone box money box, tea bags and stuff like that but know that the people on here have a talent for this type of thing. Any ideas? The cheaper the better of course
