My girl is only 5 years old and as you can probably see from my signature I was close to losing her as well. Her happy smiling face and usual morning hugs show me on a daily basis what matters. The attitude is not mine......but it is something that she has given to me.

If it happens it does. But for now I'm not trying to think or worry too much about it. I have my girl and that's what really counts. If fate brings me another then so be it.....but for now I just see where life takes me.
That's fair enough, life's too short without wasting time waiting for something specific to happen, and often once you accept something you want might not come to you, it often does! :TNo Buying Unnecessary Toiletries 2023

Thanks

Was it you who told me to try Sadly Broke? On your recommendation I didn't bother with Cribbs but did the one next to IKEA, sadly broke then Y@te (which seemed like the CHAVIEST place ever!), and what's with the loos at the one near Ikea? Talk about manky!
Did reasonably well at the first two, nothing at y@te though.....
Plenty of yellow illooms at the one near IKEA, found one lone orange one at sadly broke and that was it
guilty
*if* i need the loo at the ikea one, i'll go to burger king across the way, not that much better but better than the alternative!
I'll give sadly broke a miss tomorrow then. I havent tried Yate yet, its too new
Gonna try a normal T tomorrow and see whats what

So where is our third sticking up for yourself story to complete the set.
Snap Ant, you go right back now, say you have spoken to H.O. & have a name if they need it but it seems that DTD does apply to OOD SEL take a deep breath, wait for the answer & get your card out ready to be credited if you paid by card. Don't forget to take phones & receipt with you
Remember you pay their wagesDidn't happen
sorry
Did go back & started to explain what had happened to new SA (someone I know..) who looked at me in horror when I mentioned the DTD Policy. Plus, said, she couldn't do anything as SEL had gone. 'It's in that bin there' I tell her as I had watched 1st SA screw it up & bin it.
Anyway off she trots to go & find SEL on shelf ???
Meanwhile I spot original SA & she comes over. Immediately starts telling me how after I had left she had contacted her PI (?) & the Manager & both had said no DTD but I could have a £10 gift card
So I inform her that I had spoken to CS & YES they should honour the Policy promise. But she wasn't having it. Wouldn't ring the CS man & I could come back tomorrow to speak to Manager
I lost it thenI accused her of making me feel dirty
I've never done a DTD before, I shop regularly there, have worked along side most of the staff when we all worked for LA
So I said I want a refund
They refunded me the £39.99 in small change - I did offer them the 1pOur Family Motto ~If all else fails - read the instructions...
