I know this is a dozy question but I'm going to ask anyway!

If I was to "forget" my clubcard and then wanted to add the points from my receipt on later how do I do that? Tried to find the option on the website but couldn't see it...am I being thick?;)

    TIA!

I don't think there's any way to do it except to visit CS who do it manually, has to be within 2 weeks I think, hth.

I'm after some inspiration on what to get for my DS1 to take on a German exchange trip next week. He has got to take with him some gifts that are typically British. I had thought of phone box money box, tea bags and stuff like that but know that the people on here have a talent for this type of thing. Any ideas? The cheaper the better of course :) Thanks

I think Andrex on the go, Clipper green tea and fly catcher should do... :p

My kids just look at me blankly when I come home with htings like that........so I have to come and share with you nutters!

OMFG! I just cried from laughing so hard! :T
I do wonder sometimes where this T addiction will end...

Since bf almost threw me out with my totally NOT needed/wanted 11GBP sewing machine I think twice now what I'm buying(or hide it well if I don't :o)

    :( Didn't happen :( sorry :(

Did go back & started to explain what had happened to new SA (someone I know..) who looked at me in horror when I mentioned the DTD Policy. Plus, said, she couldn't do anything as SEL had gone. 'It's in that bin there' I tell her as I had watched 1st SA screw it up & bin it.
Anyway off she trots to go & find SEL on shelf ???
Meanwhile I spot original SA & she comes over. Immediately starts telling me how after I had left she had contacted her PI (?) & the Manager & both had said no DTD but I could have a £10 gift card
So I inform her that I had spoken to CS & YES they should honour the Policy promise. But she wasn't having it. Wouldn't ring the CS man & I could come back tomorrow to speak to Manager
I lost it then :o I accused her of making me feel dirty
I've never done a DTD before, I shop regularly there, have worked along side most of the staff when we all worked for LA
    So I said I want a refund
They refunded me the £39.99 in small change - I did offer them the 1p :(

You should call the HO in the store and make them talk to them...
or just wait till tomorrow and talk to the manager...
with a little luck you will get something still(remember to email uncle Phil) but by getting the refund you lowered your chances :(
I do understand sometimes we can't be without the money back but I always make sure I fight to the end as you can get refund anytime within 28 days with receipt so why not to wait one more day?
good luck anyway! I hope it turn out good! :)

    Here's some more:
    Mexican Ring Toss Game n:rotfl:

How to Play: Using bottles or even a blow up cactus,image-4025711-10273928 let the players try and toss rings around the objects in question. If you are using a blow up cactus, you want to be sure that the rings are going to fit around the branches. You can find the blow up cactuses at almost any party store. The winner has the most rings about the target. If you are playing with just adults, you can play for drinks.
    Margarita Mixing Adult Party Game

For the adults, you can always challenge each other to a margarita contest-- this is one of those Mexican fiesta games that can never go wrong!

How to Play: See who makes the best margarita; whether it's alcoholic or virgin, it doesn't matter. These take skill, cunning and know how, getting the ingredients just right. Everyone gets a taste and a vote is taken, with the winner being the best margarita. How can anyone lose?
    Hot Stuff Mexican Eating Contest

Eating contests are becoming more and more popular... and are a really fun idea for a Mexican fiesta game.

How to Play: You can see who can eat the most nachos or who can eat the hottest chilies. Start with the mildest chilies and work your way up the Scoville scale, the winner being the one that can consume the hottest chili without taking a drink of water.

    Sombrero Game: Mexican Hat Dancing

A Mexican hat dance contest is always fun for a Mexican fiesta game-- all you need to play is some music and a Sombreroimage-4025711-10273928.

How to Play: Played like musical chairs, you can check out how to do the dance from a video on YouTube, and challenge folks to dance around the sombrero. As the music speeds up and people drop out, the winner is the last one standing. It's actually a ton of fun!Another Sombrero Game: Pass the Sombrero

Another fun sombrero game for a party is "pass the sombrero."
How to Play: This Mexican fiesta game is played similar to "pass the orange." To play, you tuck the sombrero under your chin and pass it along the line. The winner is the one that doesn't drop the sombrero after everyone else is eliminated.

Have a great party or in Mexican - que tengas una buena fiesta!!!!:T
