Getting there slowly, but I finished the 2nd lot of shingles tablets last night. Hooray !! Thanks for asking.

Was trying to get a friend to give up smoking tonight, I needed your inspiration to help.

Hopefully new year, new start and you'll be on the mend:)My nonsmoking is doing great, 54 days!!!!And today me and my OH went shopping as it was our 10th wedding anniversary and we got each other pressies and he had just lit a ciggie and wanted the loo. I said don't worry I'll hold your ciggie while you go. When he came back a minute later he said were you tempted to puff? and I said no and I actually went in the loo to wash my hands because the smell from holding it was horrible!!!

Q: You say these shoes have travelled the world. Could you please tell me which way they travelled. Thanks.30-Dec-11

A: Here, there and everywhere, there was no real pattern to it.

Q: Hi, Can I ask what you will be using to clean these with before dispatch and also what will you be posting them in? Does you p&p include an odour eater? TIA30-Dec-11

A: Well I wasn't going to clean them as they are unique as they are. However if you want them cleaned I'm get a cow to pi $$ on them and I'll with them with a bit of hay. Odour eaters cost extra.

Q: just wondering do you have a wife since you need a bit of tlc and its leap year next year xxxx 30-Dec-11

A: No, no I don't. But there is a clue as to why I don't in one of my previous answers. ;)

Q: I like to think of myself as something of a trendsetter and think that these FAB shoes would definitely improve my image. From personal experience have you been complimented on your style when wearing these....and if so what other items were you wearing at the time to co-ordinate with them?30-Dec-11

    A: Style?? what's that then?

Q: Are you Michael Palin or Alan Whicker by any chance? 29-Dec-11

    A: Sadly, neither.

Q: On a scale of 1 - 10 (1 being a pleasant countryside bouquet and 10 being vomit inducing)....can you provide details of just how smelly these shoes are. I would also like to know which country's they have visited.....and whether they have been part of any unusual undertakings in said country. 29-Dec-11

A: I'd say a 9. As for the countries they have visited... Cuba, Japan, Russia, Hong Kong, China, NZ, Peru, Lima, Argentine, Uruguay, Brazil, actually it would be easier to list the countries they haven't been too. Unusual undertakings? hmmm, 3rd world toilets aren't the most pleasant of places so they have trailed through bucket loads of !!!!!, and no doubt c*m giving what goes on in gay mens toilets. :O

Q: You say to ask if I would like you to throw in a couple of sweaty socks. Is this a euphamism, and what you really mean is that you will throw in two gentlemen of Scottish origin? as in Sweaty Socks - Jocks 29-Dec-11

A: Well, I haven't washed for over 3 weeks so I suppose I could throw in myself.

Q: Regarding your returns policy. If my dog refuses to chew them, can I return them for a full refund?29-Dec-11

A: Your dog will most likely refuse to chew them. Sisters puppy had a chew when they were new but now neither any of our dogs will go anywhere near them.

Q: Hi, do you have any pics of your feet inside them? mainly showing bare flesh on your legs. Cheers29-Dec-11

A: Afraid not, but if you're the lucky bidder I could include some pics.

Q: Hi, Do you reckon you'll be selling any boots covered in farm muck at any point? thanks.29-Dec-11

A: Not in the near future, no.

Q: hi if i was a winning bidder could i pick shoes up to save on postage29-Dec-11

A: You can, but you may need a lead lined chest to put them in what with them being so toxin n all.

I only just got the bit about Michael Palin & Alan Whicker. Doh !

When will they learn, Ts price c*ck ups are the real sales, you can't get better :rotfl:

Definately true, everything was expensive even in the sales, but I did treat myself to a lovely new laptop but that was courtesy of a ppi payout a few weeks ago:T:T:T:Tand it was down from £899 to £399 so am a happy bunny. Not the best deal but I'm happy as that was the one thing I couldnt get hold of in the electrical sale, and it's a necessary "tool of the trade" in mse:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Even though I confess we do have a "few" computers in our house, but my mums delighted too as I've given her my old one and and going to show her how to use mse(she's a pensioner and hasnt a clue how to even switch a computer on!!!)

So that every single post that I contribute to this thread is on topic I would just like to say I am an elite 11+ member and I hear the unjust silence of my opinions whilst I am shopping in supermarkets mainly. Just sayin.
