:rotfl::rotfl:You won't have OH pushing you round T's in a wheelchair in your dressing gown will you??!! :D You might get some extra sympathy though, could be an excellent plan if people make way for you at the whoopsie fridge ;)

Actually reminds me of a funny story! When my Mum was in hospital a few years ago for blood clots, one of the ladies was really really addicted to smoking to the point where she was going to walk to the shop in her hospital nightie pushing her drip!! So my Mum bless her, as ill as she was, ended up pushing this woman on her sit on zimmer frame type thing to the local shop!!!:eek::eek:My Mum would do anything for anyone!

On a more serious note though, I really hope she comes earlier too Sunshine, you must be soooooo ready for her to make an appearance now :D Christmas baby! :T

Frequent! where are ya? fiver says Sunshine's baby is born on Christmas day!

Evening all, thanks for the new thread HC :) Hope everyone is doing ok.

Well what a day, was meant to be getting hire car this morning at 10.30, gets a call at 10 to say can they do it in the afternoon, said not really as had tesco order to pick up last minute presents and I needed to find something for funeral so they said if we didn't we wouldn't be getting one grrr so agreed to do it for 3.00.
Picked order up from click and collect even more items not available or substituted so had to go into store and funnily enough they had more or less all of it in but wasted 45 minutes getting it, by that time I didn't have time to look for clothes needed to get home, they didn't bring the hire car till 3.45 and then garage should have picked ours up at 4 .30 and didn't come while 6, I cant drive the new car and we have no-one for the kids so still haven't been for some clothes. Can't exactly turn up to my stepnans funeral in jeans and tshirt
Sorry bit of a rant, just been one of those days again really!

Everything will be ok in the end, and if it isn't ok then it isn't the end :)

I thought I was the only one trying to figure out whoopsie time on Xmas Eve. Ex has the kids all day so I have (I think) until 6pm. Not check store closing times yet but no doubt some religious buffoon over here has dictated we should all be home with our families long before anyone else in the UK has to be!

Had a lovely day out today. Met up with a local MSEer who had some DVDs for the boys. Don't want to name them in public as they are quite shy but you know who you are and really, you shouldn't have :o I almost forgot my manners and left a bottle of vino in the house but I'm glad I went back for it. Better late & polite than early & greedy :money:

Managed to find a solitary box of Thorntons today but someone had taken off the bow & menu so that could be interesting but from memory, they're all yummy! Xmas wrapping is all done and the ironing pile isn't up to 'embarassing' height yet so me thinks a wee dram and some choccies are well deserved. This is the most organised Xmas ever :D
