Last year I got a huge turkey for £6. It kept us fed for a week!!! It was a cracking bird. I strongly recommend following the suggested cooking times by the weight of your bird. Mine was really succulent.

I wouldn't mind a few more of those. Got the freezer now!

Consider yourself lucky. Chelsea paid a lot more for their turkey.

I never used the boat club, we had a lad who used to come into the bar who worked in the boat club, he used to sit at one end of the bar and as he got drunker and drunker he used to try to drink the slops. He was one for the ladies, they used to phone the bar for him, lol, and he ended up with some girls name he couldn't remember tattoed on his arm.

Our customers kept you lot busy, they'd start in the Smugglers work their way to downtown and end up in jailhouse. I'd be going into the pub about 11am next day and pass them all sweeping the roads in their tin hats.

When were you out there? We were there in 90/91. Hubby was in the RRWs and used to work in the Officer's mess.

I was there in 1967 and 1974 48 Gurkha Bde Nee Soon

You could strike lucky in Mr T's if your waters go in there tho
There's no place like home :)

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.

    Hello

Just had to share this to prove Tesco DO have a sese of irony!!

I have just returned from my local Tesco Extra and all the managers are dressed as COWBOYS!!!!

It made me smile and I thought I would share it with you all

    Happy shopping

I went last Saturday and all the staff were dressed as Disney characters...apparently it was National Disney day or something...was very strange taking my non glitched OEP back to Buzz Lightyear...then being served on normal tills by one of the 101 Dalmations :rotfl:
