important question and i need honest answers!

my local shuts at 7pm on christmas eve....what time should i go for whooooooooooooooooooooooooooooopsied items? :rotfl:

answers below please....i'm genuinely thinking what time i should go.....

Back from T's no luck whatsoever with whoopsies tonight but I can't be disappointed really....my freezer is so full I am planning the next couple of days of food very carefully in order to maximise the space in there!! :D We decided against a turkey this year as none of us really like it so we've got a 3 bird roast (should be interesting!:p) so that will free up a nice bit of space and there's 3 full loaves of bread in there so if it comes to it the ducks/chickens/birds can have them! ;)

I agree it is the most important whoopsie day of the year!!:D My T's is closed Boxing Day too so another day's worth! Plus I've got the Asda just opened at the end of the road (that is open Boxing Day) and I've got a Morrisons too :rotfl:Asda is pretty small though!

    M's closes at 5pm, T's and A's close at 7pm.

In answer to the above, there are a lot of variables. 1st is what you class as a bargain/how much you want to pay. I will be wanting the max discount :rotfl::rotfl:so my guess is they won't do that until an hour before closing. But it's one of those difficult ones to guess really, it's all store dependent and how much they have to get rid of/how much time they have to reduce it!

Yes a few layers of well buttered greaseproof put into a greased pyrex, the cake may take longer as the glass isnt such a good heat conductor cover the top with a double layer of greaseproof too to stop buring

Re SPOTY & ladies .... It woul be good if there were some nominated, but it has to be on equal achievments to the blokes IMHO.

Re Xmas Eve- Last year I went looking at my local Asda and M&S food and it was rubbish. It seems the whole world had the same idea. Maybe too many people go looking on xmas eve, and there are better bargains on normal days?
