Actually reminds me of a funny story! When my Mum was in hospital a few years ago for blood clots, one of the ladies was really really addicted to smoking to the point where she was going to walk to the shop in her hospital nightie pushing her drip!! So my Mum bless her, as ill as she was, ended up pushing this woman on her sit on zimmer frame type thing to the local shop!!!:eek::eek::eek:My Mum would do anything for anyone!

On a more serious note though, I really hope she comes earlier too Sunshine, you must be soooooo ready for her to make an appearance now Christmas baby! :T

Yeah we are all ready now.... just waiting for her appearance... but tbh, she seems quite comfy in there.. doesnt feel like she will be going anywhere, anytime soon...

and as for people moving out my way for whoopsies... you must be joking...... people near me are sooo ignorant..... people dontt hink twice of barging me out of the way to get to a whoopsie or a bargain..... usually avoid my local at these times coz of this and travel further afield where people are generally much nicer..

Just wait till this baby arrives though.. ill get em back!!! i know their tactics... he he he.

Ive been drinking rasperry leaf tea non stop - and eating pineapples and pineapple juice.. tried everything... just dont think shes ready to budge yet.


Also - wanted to ask - Usually when i try to get whoopsies at Ts - they are already in the fridges.. and i only seem to get leftovers of what people dont want - Do the staff take the stuff into the back to change the price, then bring them back out (like in Asda) or do they just change the price on the shop floor and everyone stands around like vultures???

also - do you all wait by the clearance section, just hanging around? how long do you all wait to see if whoopsies will come?

final question - do all whoopsies go in the clearance section, or do they just change the prices, whoopsie sticker them, and leave them in their 'normal' food section??

Went to my extra tonight at about 7-30pm which is the earliest that the final reductions are done (can be anytime up to about 9-30pm).

Normally it is fairly quiet at this time (except for the normal whoopsie raiders trying to look like casual shelf browsers but ready to pounce:rotfl:) but tonight the car park was nearly full and the store was heaving. With all of these amateur shoppers about the whoopsie bin was being cleared of things that only had the first reductions and some second reductions.

I would imagine it could be similar on Christmas eve so usual timings might go out of the window and be a bit hit and miss.:)
