sunshine - I wish you all the best! I was induced with my first and last babies - #1 at 42 weeks was a long drawn out induction starting with pessaries around 4pm and being uncomfortable and finally giving birth at 11.35pm the next night. #2 was a natural delivery at 42 weeks- I was in a panic about having to go in the next day, had a bit too much chinese food (intolerence to some foods so I knew what to eat to get going) which gave me an upset tummy and she was born the next morning. #3 and #4 were pretty much the same at 42 weeks, with #4 I ate a whole pineapple (had the ulcers on my tongue to prove it lol!) but she came along the same evening. #5 was only 41 weeks but he weighed over 11lbs so just as well really - I think gravity helped me out LOL!! With #6 I was induced early as I had gestational diabetes with her. I went in at 9am and they popped my waters to get things going, I had to go on the drip to speed things up as there was a bit of concern, but she was born by 1.30pm and the induction certainly wasnt as bad as the first one I had had. With all the pregnancies I had multiple sweeps - they never worked for me. Just eat something you know will 'clear u out' and things will get going! My #3 was the quickest delivery - around half an hour and I ended up delivering her on my own at 4.30am as the midwife didnt arrive in time (ex-husband had left me and with 2 other kids and no support only option for me was a home birth) but have to say it was my most proudest moment!!
Sorry - love talking about babies!! No more for me though sadly lol!!
  • Too many thing I need to comment on to quote it all so here goes!

Evening all. Popped to M's but they didn't have something on my Nan's list so will have to go back tomorrow to do the £40 shop. Just bought milk and a couple of 9p/19p whoopsies tonight :D

1st turkey crown (smallest of the lot) has been roasted and is scrummy! So glad I got the few that I did and managed to fit them in the freezer, they will be very much appreciated over the next couple of months.

HC thank you very much for the info regarding running a diesel engine on vegetable oil, something I'm seriously going to look into!! :D

Jedward have amazing bone structure but their hair.....urghhhhh!!!!:p On the topic of age appropriate crushes....I'm majorly crushing on Harry and Louis from One Direction! No, I'm not as old as Caroline Flack! :rotfl:

Sunshine you poor love!! I have no experience yet baby wise and can only imagine how excited and keen you are to meet your little bundle but please take it easy! You're doing so much, you need to look after yourself, after all you're going to need some energy to get you through the birth! :A

FK major props to you, fab haul! :T And thanks for the tip regarding the sub total button.....arghhh could have done with that for the OEP! Oh well, live and learn....come on T's new glitch please! :D

QPR - I'm so sorry I have read of your troubles in the last few weeks but can't remember if I've commented yet...mind like a sieve, appologies. Anyway I sincerely hope your ankle is much much better soon and sorry to hear of your xmas day debacle :( You'd think they'd be a little bit more understanding and sympathetic!

jumblejack- YESSSS! :p Did anyone else LOVE dtd days just so they felt like they were buying really expensive stuff? I just loved that :TI know it sounds silly but dtd made me feel so sneaky and mischievious :o Like I could be proud to only have a few items in my trolley for £30 like I was made of money knowing full well I'd get the money back :p God I sound like such a superficial b!tch! Now I want a trolley full of shopping for £30!! I hate paying full price for anything also, where there's a will there's a way!!:D

HC glad to see the bar is turning a profit even after my decadent wages are deducted :rotfl:

Right think that's all I had to say!

That's Fudge underscore Cake over and out! :p:rotfl:
